Nicely made, good feel in the hand as expected of Parker pens, finish worked well and was something I wanted, however I found the nib very short (may be a new design) I’m used to a longer nib.Found it difficult to grip due to short nib and grip. Probably ok for small hands or female.Not good for medium to large hands unless that is what you like.

I originally bought a Parker 51 but was extremely disappointed (the resin body scuffs permanently when you simply post the stainless steel cap) so I returned it and got the Parker IM instead. The box it comes in is no match for the 51's, which is very premium, but the pen itself is better quality, being made entirely of stainless steel - with no scuffing issue when posting the cap. It's a nice weight and well balanced, even with the cap posted, it writes well with no scratchiness or stalling, and the finish (I went for the Dark Espresso) is gorgeous. With the difference in price I was able to order the pen, an ink converter and two bottles of Quink for only 59p more than just the Parker 51.

Terrible experience, ink wont flow (just using original parker ink), I contacted parker, they sent me a new nib, but still the same problem, can't write without failed line. Starting to write is also very difficulit, ink won't flow and most of the time I just give up. It will end in the trash unfortunately. For comparision my Lamy Safari works just fine.

Nice And classy
This is my first fountain pen. It is a nice writing instrument. Adds a bit of class. I don't have other fountain pens to compare to . one thing i will need to get used to is if left uncapped for some time, i find it needs to scribble a bit to get the ink flowing. This may be typical for fountain pens .
