This mask stays in position and does not move or slip down. It has good, secure velcro fastening at the rear and two pull cords on sides with buttons to secure front to chin and neck area to become windproof.It looks and feels good.I bought a few different face masks but the others made me feel like I could not breathe through them. This one is not tight on your face and feels comfortable allowing you to breathe easily through the vents and I recommend it highly! 😃

*2019*Brought a digital cameo version which got a lot of praise and interest, the temperature this time was as low as -15. For peak season snow and possibly worse weather conditions you will definitely want a buffer or a balaclava under the mask. Other than that it's the same high quality material and stitching that provides an excellent product and one of the few sellers that do NOT photoshop their product onto photos. 6/5 Highly recommended.*2018*Brought this product for use when snowboarding. Wanted something to cover my nose and mouth that allows some breath-ability without the material adsorbing too much moisture.The material is of good quality with the fleece being durable so that fur does not end up in your mouth and the outside material repelling small amounts of water. The front mesh allows you to exhale the blunt of your breath and the sides for venting the excess breath as well as allowing small airflow in. There are 3 vertical Velcro straps that allow some adjustment as well as a pull cord to tighten the mask further. Overall product is as described by the seller.Temperature at time of use were 3 degrees to -5 degrees. From my own experience using this half face mask when snowboarding, there was no need to adjust the Velcro too tightly nor the need to use the pull cords, the nose bridge on my googles allowed it to pin down on the face mask holding it in position and the chin strap from my helmet kept it in place. There is a reason you would want to wear it loosely, this is because the inside of the mouth area is made of fleece and despite the mesh helping your breath to escape the fleece will absorb moisture and will eventually become very damp if not frosty. After an hour or so I would start pulling the face mask down when resting or on a ski lift simply to prolong it's use before it the fleece becomes fully damp and uncomfortable which is about lunch time. After this you will probably want lay it out to dry under the sun or have a spare mask/buffer handy if there is no sun.I honestly can't imagine a fix for the fleece adsorbing moisture yet as it stands this is a very good half face mask that is both warm on the inside and water repellent on the outside while giving you some airflow. Well deserving of a 5* I am considering buying another.Lastly some extras...1) If worn with a balaclava you will look like a ninja from a certain video game, other people will also think you look like a ninja. Do you like looking like a ninja while tearing up the slopes?2) Snowballs will go through the mesh. Don't get hit in the mouth.3) Do not wear in high winds or snowstorm/blizzards as the face mask will no longer keep you warm. Cold face not fun.4) Always carry spare masks or buffs.

It's construction and quality looks great but I could not get it to fit right. The instructions says the straps should be just below the ears but by dosing so the mask pulls down on the nose and wants to sit on your top lip.In the illustrations it shows the straps covering the man's ear. If I wore it that way the velcro straps at the back is quite high up on my head and was prone to slipping down my head. Certainly can't get my motorcycle helmet on.Maybe it's the shape of my head but I certainly couldn't put it on properly.

I ordered this item after getting grime and sand in my face and mouth while cycling during my daily commute. Not a pleasant experience, I also bag munros in winter so thought it would be a worthwhile item to purchase. My first impression is that it is well designed and made and actually looks good, it also fits really well with drawstring adjustment and the Velcro fastenings seem to have a good grip. I haven't used it yet as conditions have improved, hence the four stars, so will update after this review after some useUpdate - have started using this to cover my mouth when travelling, it works fine, it's not really intended for summer use as it gets quite hot, but it will do me for that purpose for now. I think it will be brilliant for its intended use in colder conditions or if cycling. I have purchased a 2nd one. Thanks

At last have found a mask that fits and is comfortable (have bought two)
This product is very inexpensive for the quality that it has.
This mask does a lot more for me personally than what it says its capable of. For instance, it is very breathable, which is true, but it also keeps out a lot of the smells from outside, for me personally. It fits well, its comfortable, it looks nice, the sewing is really well done, it is designed for cold weather but you can wear it no matter what, it doesn't get uncomfortable warm or hot, but it does protect from the cold weather. Overall, and I don't really type reviews, this product is definitely worth its money. I am extremely content with this product versus what I was usijg for face masks before. I really hope that this company can continue making products that are of this quality or better!

Non para il freddo (perchè traforata davanti per favorire la traspirazione) però funziona in maniera impeccabile contro pioggia e vento. Anche senza portare altro sotto il prodotto sulla bocca rriva il fresco di fuori ma non il vento scomodo! Sicuramente utile per il periodo primaverile e autunnale in moto. Consigliato anche per bici anche se non ci vado personalemente! Sconsiglio per Snowboard o soprt invernali... meglio i classici in quel campo!
Love the mask!
I have a small button nose & was worried that it would not fit...but it fits great and doesn’t come down or move while I’m moving my head around. I’ve been mainly using this while I shovel or snow blow, and it’s been keeping me warm. The mask is also very breathable as it has small meshed vents around the nose area.I’m really happy with the mask and I was quite surprised. It’s nice quality and I like the Velcro and drawstring to help with the fitting. Excellent mask and as advertised :)

Got this mortal kombat mask before Covid. It came in handy
Good replacement for a scarf, but not perfect
I bought this, so I could have something to cover my face, in conjunction with a ski mask. I often find my beard, face and the scarf gets covered in condensation when I use a scarf, and it's not always comfortable. I also find the scarf moves around too much and pulls on my facial hair. This product actually makes a gap between it and my face because it's semi-rigid, which is nice. It's easy to move it up to cover me, or pull it down and out of the way.I did find that if I had it adjusted in a certain way, and I breathed into the mask in a certain direction that it would fog up my sun glasses. But if I adjusted it, I could overcome that. So, it wasn't a big deal.When using this mask with a ski mask and toque, I found it they worked really well together, but there was a gap where my skin was exposed, near my ear. This would only be a problem in really cold weather, so it didn't bother me. And, it could be rectified by having a small scarf in addition.Definitely a useful bit of outer wear that is easier to adjust than a scarf.
