I purchased one of these after hearing 1 playing over a couple of weeks while working on a roof. Owning a couple of Makita Job Site radios, which are too big to carry around with my other tools, I found them a little bit impractical and they're both too bass heavy to really enjoy music with, especially while working inside, but with these small and surprisingly loud bluetooth speakers, my music actually sounds clear, well balanced and enjoyable to listen to.Best of all, with the size, price and waterproof rating, I don't mind leaving it out at breaktimes and mine has easily lasted a day so far playing it loud, however it's still the first work day use since ownership. My friend's however lasts about 3 days between charging, so if I do forget to charge it, then i'll probably still get at least another full day or 2 out of it.A bit of a bargain then really and the quality of the sound for the size is impressive, then add long battery life and weatherproof value makes it a great purchase for work.

I bought the first version of thos speaker a few years ago, it still works perfectly fine but I have given it to my teenage son so he can listen to his music in his bedroom.This second edition is just as good if not better as it has a type C charging port not a micro charging port.The clarity of sound is excellent, the battery lasts for what feels like an eternity.It is built solidly and comes with a charging wire ( you will need a plug )For something so small the volume is very Impressive.It is so handy to take away with you, listen to music in the bathroom or as I do, in the garden Wifi permitting.I have nothing negative to say about this.It is more than reasonably priced and I know it is durable as my older one is still working the same as it was when I first bought it.This is definitely the bluetooth speaker to buy if you are looking for durability, longevity, great performance, and small enough to take anywhere with you.10/10. 100%. 5 stars.No complaints.A great product that in this day and age it seems things aren't built to last, this little gem certainly is.You won't be disappointed.

Quite amazed by the quality of this speaker, the rubberised exterior really does protect it and is aesthetically pleasing. Set up took seconds and made a huge difference listening to my iPhone. Definitely recommend and at a great price too

Read a lot of reviews on this. Some points i'll agree on, others not.-Battery life is good-It's built like a tank or so it seems, could clonk someone on the head if need be and it would hurt :)-Haven't tried the waterproof aspect so no comment.About sound....Some reviews on the tube videos even compare it to a bose soundlink and the guy says really good things about this.Well, my opinion regarding sound..it's average.If you just need some music playing with you this will do the job. If you are really keen on quality sound wherein one can hear a wide frequency range, have depth and clarity in the whole musical journey, these don't do that.In fairness, the price is really low, they serve as small travel speakers (which is my reason for purchase).When i hold it in my hand, the feeling is impressive, bass is booming, sounds are decent (not great, but decent). When i've kept it on a table or so and stood about 2 meters away, the sound feels just regular.Well, they fit into a particular purpose and once again to state that for the price, it does the job. No immense clarity or audio quality here.That said, happy enough with my purchase.

i love this little speaker and am so excited that i decided to get it. I will be honest, when it comes to ANYTHING with a wire, i have the worst luck and things never work for me, even when i buy brand new things. The ONLY thing that swayed me to buy this actual speaker is a review of it that a young man uploaded on here, it was a short video review.And i thought it looked simple enough that even i could use it so i got 1.It is so easy to use, it connected to my bluetooth with ease and seems to charge really well.I like the actual feel of the speaker and i love the sound quality. I have not tried it on full volume yet but even so, i can still hear it clearly when i am at the back of my garden and the speaker is still at my house. I have not had any problems with the bluetooth connection at all, and it even has good base. Another thing i love about this speaker is that you do not need to download any apps at all.It is so easy to move it from room to room which may not seem like much but if you had had my last speaker, you would understand why i am valuing even the little things!it is defo worth the money, i love this speaker so much

Pleasantly surprised for size and price
I was looking for a waterproof speaker, primarily for use in the shower, and I saw this one amongst no-name brands. I have used other Anker products before and am reasonably assured of their quality. This speaker continues that. It is well made and with the rubberized outer case seems up to the task of taking the occasional tumble. That said, this kind of rubber coating I've seen before that over time without proper care and sun/heat exposure can degrade (get 'gummy'). As new, it's good and makes for a solid grip and I plan to treat it well (time will tell on how it endures).Sound-wise, I am somewhat impressed. Usually compact speakers are tinny highs and muddy mids and do poorly on the low end, but this one is not like that. The sound is bright without being tinny on the highs, has nice mellow mids that aren't muddy, and decent low end for the size. It doesn't reach to deep end lows like the dedicated sub I have in my car, but it gets low enough to hear a good beat. From my own testing, the cutoff seems to be about 80Hz (E2, lowest note on guitar), below which it quickly drops to inaudible by 50Hz (G1). Probably not meant for deep bass tracks.For the controls, I like the raised buttons on the top, making easy to find the right button without looking. The controls themselves are simple and straightforward - Power, Vol Dn, Play/Pause, Vol Up, BT Pairing. I did find a feature that is not documented, the ability to skip Forward by press Play 2x (quickly), and skip Backward by press Play 3x. I saw other reviewers saying they wish this had Fwd/Rev, but it actually does have it, just not documented. (I've noticed the 2x and 3x pattern in other BT devices so I tried it here and it worked!)Battery life is so far so good. I've had this for 3 days and have had it playing for several hours over that time and it still read 70%. I received it with 50% charge (typical) and it must support fast charging because after a little over an hour on my phone charger (USB-C) it was up to 100%.Overall, I'm pleased with my purchase. Getting it cheaper on AZ lightning discount was a plus. I might get a second while the promo is still on.
