The ALLTEST FOB and Transferin home test pack allows the completion on 1 home test to detect microscopic traces of blood in human faeces. The kit contains a sealed test cassette, a collection swab and a plastic vial of inert saline buffer, full instructions. Many diseases may result in hidden blood in the faeces. This is known as faecal occult blood (FOB), human occult blood, or human haemoglobin. In the early stages, gastrointestinal (GI) problems such as colon cancer, ulcers, polyps, colitis, diverticulitis, and fissures may not show any visible symptoms, only occult blood. Traditional guaiac based methods of occult blood testing lack sensitivity and specificity, and also require diet restrictions prior to testing. Faecal occult blood tests are used as a screening tool for detecting lower gastrointestinal (GI) bleeding that may be related to iron deficiency anaemia, peptic ulcer, ulcerative colitis, polyps, and colorectal cancer. The ALLTEST FOB Test Device is recommended for use by health professionals in routine physical examinations and in monitoring for GI bleeding in patients in hospitals or in GPs' surgeries. The Faecal Occult Blood Test is a simple, visual qualitative test that detects human haemoglobin from blood in faeces. The test is based on immunochromatography and can give a result within 5 minutes. Pack contents include all items required to obtain and effect a result from which further medical diagnosis/treatment can be determined. This test is fully CE approved for self-testing. If any positive result is obtained it is important the patient seek immediate medical advice.

Easy to use. Simple to follow instructions. Clear and quick result. Had a postal one via GP after this and that also came back negative, so I believe this to have been as accurate as the one the GP gave me.

If in doubt buy this product!After not feeling well for a little while I still had a feeling somethings not right, so After reading a few reviews I thought why not? What’s the harm? I decided I would try this test.This product come with everything you need to complete the test however I didn’t feel very confident about using the tissue paper provided that sticks to the toilet to collect the specimen so I improvised, make sure the item you use is clean and disposed of after use. My test was positive now it explains my blood test results. I’ll be booking an appointment for the GP.

Had a few red flags so thought that I would get a test as getting a GP appointment is like asking for an audience with the pope!Test came back positive, so the silver lining is as far as I'm concerned, instead of waiting for a GP appointment, I can now set the wheels in motion and progress without delay.If your worried, just buy one, its only a fiver

false positive! I should have read the reviews! The test showed positive for blood, I went to me GP and they did their own tests which came back negative. Two weeks of worry for nothing. If in doubt go to your GP.

Non funziona
Facile da usare ma inutile. Il test non funziona, uscito positivo, chiamo il medico che mi fa fare le analisi in laboratorio su tre campioni e tutti e 3 negativi.....Soldi buttati non compratelo. Per non parlare della preoccupazione inutile che ho avuto fino ai risultati delle analisi di laboratorio.
