I stumbled across this 2 months ago and have bought 5 packets from the supermarket and emptied the packets into a jar. I went to the supermarket again and they were wiped out as they were on clearance and they don't sell them any more :( I rushed to Bolo and they sold 24 for £9 something which was an absolute BARGAIN!!! All 24 packs came and were neatly and appropriately packed. I love this seasoning and it has a long shelf life so I am using it sparely. I only use a teaspoon and a half for one avocado as putting the whole packet mutes the flavour of the avocados. I spread the avocado on toast with some rocket and sriracha mayo - my sister loved the avocado taste and she found out which spice i used so i'm hiding it now haha.

The description says “ Old El Paso Mexican Guacamole Seasoning Mix, 20 g (Pack of 24)”.I received one 20 gram packet. I feel deceived.Either I didn’t get the complete order or this is a con.

I’ve been looking for the El Paso guacamole spice mix for ages as I can’t seem to find it in the UK supermarkets. I used to use this when I lived in Spain. It’s such an easy way to make great tasting guacamole. To find it online was a very pleasant surprise. The price was very good, the delivery was speedy and the product as described . All in all a very happy discovery. I would highly recommend this product.

After years of using it, this product is no longer available in supermarkets in U.K. and I have not visited Spain for almost 2 years to be able to restock. It’s a very simple way to add some zing to guacamole , no matter which way you like to make it.

Not a great product, when mixed with the avocado the flavour takes over completely and it does taste very powdery with a strong accent on salty chilli. It does not taste like a fresh guacamole even using a fresh avocado. There are much better alternatives available in some supermarkets.
