I did season the pan as it is cast iron. I use it for cooking steak as non-stick pans don't get hot enough. This pan gets very hot and seals the meat quickly so meat stays juicy. I don't wash the pan I let it cool and wipe it out with kitchen paper. The handle is quite short and does not have a covered handle so you need a glove pick the pan up when it is hot. The pan is also oven proof but I really only use it for steaks and chops. The pan is very heavy and I have a ceramic hob. It has not scratched the hob at all. This was far cheaper than other cast iron pans and I am very pleased with it.

I am new to the steak game so I'd say this skillet is perfect for me as I don't need anything fancy and expensive so the value for money is crazy as I've seen an immediate improvement to the quality of steaks, especially the sear. However, I don't think it holds heat perfectly equally in all parts of the plan but that isn't too much of an issue to be honest as I am a beginner. I would say learn to clean this and be ready to put lots of effort in to do so. I've used it a fair few times and cleaned it immediately after cooking to make sure it doesn't rust. I wash with soap and water and then dry straight away. I then season it with a bit of oil and paper tissue. I am yet to bake it in the oven but I will start doing that soon to make sure it stays well conditioned. DO NOT PUT IN DISHWASHER

I like a cast iron frying pan as they distribute and hold heat better than non-stick and other materials in my opinion.This pan is a good size, deep enough to prevent too much splashing of fat and food, and it browns things really well.Only slight downsides are it is quite heavy which is typical of cast iron, and the handle could do with being an inch or two longer.Cleans up well with just a wipe of kitchen roll, aa it's better to keep cast iron seasoned rather than scrubbing with detergent and water each time.

I've heard that it is easy to ruin this skillet with red stains. All you need to do is clean with hot water (no liquid)and a wire sponge, tap dry and apply oil and heat up then down (seasoning).

It took forever to receive the pan,as usual the company that sent it said it couldn't delivered,that we weren't home which was not true. The pan just looks cheap, not happy with it but part of those feelings maybe due to the awful delivery. Sorry.

Husband cooked in the fry pan and it seemed fine. Arrived in fine shape. We like it - actually my husband likes it. I do not care for cast iron pans

Gusseiserne Pfanne
Also was ich nicht gedacht hätte das diese Gusseiserne Pfanne sogut ist. Der Boden ist zwar nicht ganz plan aber da Guss sich allgemein aufheizt hatte ich keinerlei Probleme damit. Die Pfanne 🍳 kam fertig eingebrannte bei mir an und doch habe ich sie bei 200 grad eine halbe Stunde eingehölt im Backofen getan. Danach Spiegeleier gebraten nachdem die Pfanne heiß war und nur auf Stufe 4 von 12 die Eieer kam sind ohne etwas aus der Pfanne gekommen. Man braucht Geduld und sollte sich Stück für Stück einarbeiten damit man ein lebenslang Freude damit hat. Man braucht in der Küche, eine Eisenpfanne, eine Gusspfanne und einen Work und man ist gut eingedeckt damit. Für 20 Euro 💶 habe ich ein gutes Geschäft gemacht. Es ist wirklich eine Kauf Empfehlung. Die Bodenfläche ist genau so groß wie eine 28er Pfanne was das schöne ist.
