Nytol Herbal Simply Sleep One-A-Night Tablets are a traditional herbal remedy containing Valerian root extract, used for the occasional relief of sleeplessness. Valerian is traditionally used for its sleep-inducing properties, to aid a restful night's sleep. It contains a higher dose of Valerian than our other herbal tablets and is in a convenient one tablet dose. Nytol Herbal Simply Sleep One-A-Night tablets contains Valerian root extract. A traditional herbal medicinal product for use in the temporary relief of sleep disturbances exclusively based upon long-standing use as a traditional remedy. Always read the leaflet.

Each film-coated tablet contains: Dry extract from Valerian Root (Valeriana Officinalis L.) 385mg (equivalent to 1.54 - 1.93g of Valerian Root), Extraction solvent: Ethanol 60% V/V

Do not take if you are taking any other medicine for sleep or if you are allergic to any of the ingredients. Nytol Herbal Simply Sleep One-A-Night tablets are not recommended for use during pregnancy or when breast-feeding. Ask your doctor or pharmacist for advice before taking any medicine. If you feel sleepy, do not drive or operate machines. Alcohol may increase the sedative effect. Excessive alcohol consumption should be avoided. Do not store above 25°C. These tablets will may put you to sleep the first time, or you need your system to get use to them. Inwhich you then must give your body time to work with them. A month, or a month and a week after taking them roughly around the same time and after disgusting them you haven't noticed a difference. Then they are not working for you.

I tried these for 3 days. I usually sleep from 6am till 8am but recently have been sleeping till 4pm so really needed to sort my life out. The first night I took 1, I fell asleep at 10 and woke up at 2, i was happy to get to bed at a normal time but it didn’t help too much. The second night I took 2 and felt like I was on X or something. I fell asleep at 10 but my bf came to bed and said I asked him to check my pulse, I don’t remember This but I do remember waking up at 6am and feeling sick and dizzy- it was like when you’re drunk and lay down and the room starts spinning. It felt like my heart was racing and my eyes were shifting. It wore off around 2 hours after I woke up but I was happy to have had a decent nights sleep. The third night I only took 1 again and woke up at 4am but had no side effects. I recommend these but just be careful and only use 2 if you’re having really bad sleep problems but probably just speak to your doctor. Also they taste like apple cider vinegar which no one told me and they stink. Keep water by your bed bc they also may make you very thirsty when you wake up. I think the price is good compared to other stores and they are easy to swallow but the taste or vinegar does linger.

It’s so good, so easy to swallow, I sleep so well when I take this, it’s so strong but it doesn’t feel strong in a way like I don’t feel groggy when I take it. It’s really good value for money 100% and the smell is pleasant unlike some other nytol tablets

Ordered these on a whim to help poor sleep. All the tablets are white and uniform quality. They have a faintly herbal smell and a sweet coating which makes taking them easy. They're not too big, perhaps a little bigger than a paracetamol. I experienced no improvements in sleep quality or relief, but it worked well for a friend.

So, I have problems sleeping for a number of years. I can get to sleep ok but always wide awake at 4.30am, however long I have been in bed for. I take hayfever tablets every other day 3x per week and that knocks me out but makes me drowsy for a few hours in the morning - I don't get hayfever; I just use them because they knock me out and I can get 6 or 7 hours sleep. I can only take them every other day as after a couple of days my body gets used to them and do doesn't work. After seeing the reviews for Nytol, I thought I would give them a try and hopefully, will then get a good night's sleep every night and without feeling drowsy in the morning.The first night I took 1 tablet 30mins before bed. I was tired anyway. Went to bed and stayed awake all night. Didn't get a minute's sleep! I don't take caffeine after midday because of the sleep problem and this is what happens. I managed to get to work ok and I know some reviews said it could take a few days to work. So, took another tablet the next night about 4 hours before I went to bed. I managed 2 hours sleep that night. The next night I took another tablet also 4 hours before bed and didn't sleep a wink again. Night 4 after getting 2 hours sleep in 3 days, I put them in the bin and took my hayfever tablet again and slept for 7 hours.Didn't work for me as you can see and so a waste of money.

this is very strong version of Valerian tablets that always help me to sleep and calm me down. Valerian has naturally strong unpleasant smell but these tablets are almost odourless which is great advantage. Definitely recommend.

I've tried the herbal nytol and they work well but for some reason these kept me awake. I had a very restless night, almost like I'd had lots of caffeineOn the plus side they don't smell and taste bad like the herbal ones
