Drill out drainage holes and the water will retain in the bottom of the pot until it reached the drainage nozzle levels.

These beautiful planters arrived with lightning speed and I was very pleased with them. The plastic material makes them practical and I'm sure they will last for many years to come. All I needed to do was create the drainage holes (with the help of some secateurs) and they were ready to go.
