My dog won’t open his mouth to have his teeth brushed but I manage to lift his lips and brush his clenched teeth , it does seem to work once the past is in his mouth , I try to do it every day , he doesn’t seem to mind the taste either

So cleaning a dogs teeth may not be the easiest job depending on how cooperative your pooch is, so you need some basic, simple tools to help you and this pack does give you the tools. I am fortunate, my ESS will cooperate, if she's in the right frame of mind that is. She seems to like the taste of the cleaning paste or certainly doesn't object to it. The brushes are reasonably to use, not sure how long they'll last, we will see. Yes, I think this pack is a valuable tool to keep your dogs teeth clean and fresh. I will probably buy it again when this one is finished.

We are slowly introducing our young dog to having his teeth brushed regularly.The kit comes with a 100g tube of toothpaste, two finger toothbrushes and a double ended long handled toothbrush.To begin with I put a small blob of toothpaste on my finger, let our puppy smell it then applied it to his teeth. Luckily, given that puppies have incredibly sharp teeth, our pup loves the taste and eagerly allows me to "brush" his teeth. He isn't so keen on me using the finger brush (that will come in time) but his love of the toothpaste outweighs his dislike of the brush which is a positive for me.The toothpaste has no perceivable smell (at least not to me) & has a gel consistency making it easy to spread around the teeth.At this stage I am very happy with this product but will update my review after a few months to say how well it keeps the teeth clean.Update 5 months on: well the razor sharp puppy teeth are now all gone & the adult teeth have been through for some months. We did in time progress to using the kit supplied toothbrushes and I can honestly say our dog boasts a "Hollywood " smile! His teeth remain plaque free & are amazingly white. Very pleased with this product & would recommend it 🐕🐾🐾

Bought for my Yorkie but brushes too hard and therefore he won't allow me to put it in his mouth..Paste is ok though and he likes the taste..

Early days and the first time I have used brushed my dogs teeth. Came about when we had a cuddle and her breath was a bit potent. On checking I could see her teeth were in need of a bit of attention. After a bit of research I found this on Bolo and liked the finger brush option. She was a bit reluctant to open her mouth and let me brush but after a bit of trial and error it went smoothly. I found the finger brush did prove to be easier to use than the brush on this option and I only did her easy to access teeth on the first occasion. The brush was able to reach the back teeth comfortably but she wouldn't let me do a proper job this time round. She seemed to like the taste which was a good sign and the brush feels quite sturdy. It has a normal size toothbrush head on one end and a smaller one on the other end (probably more suitable for cats). The product states that if the animal wont let you brush their teeth you can add it to their paws. As a trial I did put some on my dogs paws and she was quick to lick it off, so further proof to me that she enjoys the taste. I am sure in time with perseverance brushing will become easier and knowing she likes the taste, its a product I will stick with.

My dogs are 8 years old and their teeth needed cleaning. Vet wanted unreasonable cost to scale and polish. This toothbrush set is good. My dogs love the taste and don’t mind me brushing their teeth. Breath does seem fresher too.
