I used this Docapole with a hard bristle brush head attached to clean built up moss on my bungalow slate roof and it worked well. Initially I used it with the supplied adjustable angle connector but it kept coming unscrewed in use as there is no means of locking it , so I attached the head directly screwed it on as hard as possible but at times it still came undone and had to be re tightened . In addition for my job on the roof you have to continuously adjust the length, longer to reach the ridge and shorter down by the guttering etc which was ok but the latching mechanisms securing each telescopic section had the annoying habit of ratchet tightening the screws on the locking collars each time it was operated . Therefore in use you have to carry a cross head screwdriver to continually make adjustments. Otherwise a well made piece of kit that could be improved considerably with a few modifications. Nothing else I believe would have done the job as well and that’s the only reason I gave it five stars and put up with the rest.Beware of the blizzard pricing policy, If you order the pole only it costs more than if you buy the same pole with a Go Saw pruning blade included . The saw is on sale separately for around £50 . A fluffy tail dusting attachment not mentioned on the site supplied with the pole as standard or so it was on my pole.

I like how the pole can adjust to the height how you want it to be. I used it for cleaning the house windows. It's useful for the front and the back of the home. No need to use a ladder, just adjust the pole to the height you want it to reach the window for cleaning. ( Can do very high windows) save you time from climbing up the ladder or getting a window cleaner.

Very useful for attaching a variety of hooks and brushes to get to those 'out-of-reach' places. I use it for putting up Christmas lights outside, clearing gutters and roof valleys and washing windows. It is a very useful tool to have around.

The task at hand was to paint a rendered wall about 3 metres wide on a two storey house. The wall is above a single storey kitchen extension. I didn’t want any platform stuck onto the extension roof and I wanted to do it myself if possible.I saw some extension poles at D-I-Y and at painting stores but they weren’t anywhere near long enough. I did an internet search not really expecting anything and Docapole from Bolo popped up. I worked out that it would be long enough to reach even up to the pointy bit at the very top just under the end of the ridge tile.The pole is surprising light and sturdy and comes with an angled head attachment. I didn’t need to use this attachment whilst painting but it was very useful for taking to D-I-Y stores when buying a paint roller for screwing onto the end of the pole.I put plenty of cloth covers on the extension roof and the yard floor to protect from drips of paint.I started at the bottom of the wall just above the extension roof and worked my way up extending the pole until I was painting the highest part.As the extension pole painted higher up the wall I switched my heavy duty roller 9 inch to a lighter 9 inch one and at the very top I used a 4 inch roller. Using a lighter roller meant I had more control as the Docapole was ever more extended. I had to be very careful not to paint over my neighbour’s brickwork as his side is not rendered and I managed to avoid doing so. The pole will flex a lot under a too heavy weight and using a lighter roller at the top made sense and worked very well.The surprising thing was that I could load the painting roller with paint in a plastic tray without having to take the roller off the end the pole, even with the pole at its fullest extent.When I had finished I was slightly in awe that I had been able to do it. It looked like a good paint job. I worked slowly and carefully and it took me around two hours.Having to work from the side of the kitchen extension and not being able to stand directly below the wall that I was painting was a bit awkward, but I am 62, not super fit or anything, and I managed to do it without straining anything.Buying the pole means I can paint this wall when I want, and when the weather is good. From now on my biggest expense is the paint. I am very happy to have made the purchase and consider the pole to be excellent value.

I purchased this with a view to using it with a gutter scoop attachment which screws on the top. It flexes quite a bit when extended but remains strong enough to do the job of cleaning the gutters. Easy to use and length is great.

Reasonable light weight depending on your physique I guess - seems durable and stable - took a few weeks to arrive for a prime product 3 stars due to delivery time - just said was arriving then cancelled and eventually said let you know when it’s arriving without any reason - stuck with it but nearly cancelled a few times because of the inconvenience of waiting to carry out the work

Oh my goodness. My husband was impressed at how slick it was to change the lightbulbs out in this high, angled ceiling. Great Product. We see the light and would highly recommend it to others.

I purchased this to go along with another separate item that holds a microfiber cloth and cleans a security camera. I found this item to be a quality item. It is easy to use and is not flimsy and it has a part with it that allowed a 90° bend so that when I purchased the separate item for cleaning security cameras that was able to screw onto this, it cleaned my dome camera attached 12 feet up on the house, perfectly. I truly needed this particular pole because of the part that comes with it that allows the 90 degree bend. This was awesome and I’m so glad I found it. It kept me from carrying my 40 lb ladder up stairs to the outside. Thanksvto Bolo for carrying this so helpful item.
No broken or dropped bulbs
Exchanged high ceiling bulbs without dropping a single one. Suction was excellent. Would like to have one with a net or basket attachment.
