Works well but as with all ear temp devices it's a couple of degrees out. The instructions tell you how to compensate. Easy to use and understand though and the readout is clear.

Like many other reviewers I too found this ear thermometer rather difficult to use. There are far too many different settings and only too buttons. Trying to take a child's temperature when they are unwell is tricky so an easy to use thermometer is what is needed. This is not that item I'm afraid.

This item doesn’t measure temperature very accurately.

This gives inconsistent readings which are mostly too low. In fact quite often it gives readings below the 34°C minimum and displays "Lo" with a warning beep. Basically it's completely useless, and not fit for purpose.Note that the two "reviewers" who have given 5* ratings for this product have only reviewed this and other A&D products and given them all 5*. Draw your own conclusions.

Great product. Quick and easy to use straight out of the box. I used this in the ‘in ear’ mode and it returned the temperature very quickly.Handy feature is that you can store a number of your readings thus making it easy to keep track of any change in temperature over a period of time.Would recommend to anyone who has a baby or a young child.
