    Nice quality Monobloc basin mixer tap. As a plumber of over 30 years, I can say this tap seems to be of good quality and is nice and solid.I did not fit the waste as the basin had a flip waste.PLUMBING TIPSDon't use any ptfe tape on the flexy pipe threads in to the tap, it will help to run a damp finger around the o ring rubber to help it slip in to place as you tighten BY HAND until firm, dont be tempted to use any grips etc and you should be fine. A small box spanner is just the job to tighten the 2 tap clamping nuts, just make sure it's at least 4 inches long, or a socket will do, but you will need a long one to accommodate the bolt once the nut gets near the basin.The tap has 2 flexible pipes with female nuts to connect to your water pipes, so if you have an isolation valve on each of your pipes, they will fit stright on to the male side of the valve.It's a good idea to run a flat file over the end of the valve, to flattern a little as they are designed to accept a 15mm olive, and the edge is quite thin, this can cut in to the rubber inside the flexy pipe nut, tempting you to tighten even more and then it cuts in even more.Tighten by hand as good as you can, then nip up with a spanner just a little and that all you need, you should not need ptfe tape, the washer should do the job and will do it better if ptfe tape is not distorting anything.One last thing, make sure the pipes to the taps don't twist when you join them to your pipes.BTW no one gave me any free stuff of discounts etc to leave this review. Help each other and be honest and help get rid of the fake stuff.Hope my review and tips help and if so please give me a thumbs up or tick thingy.If you fit the waste, be sure never to use drain cleaner as it will melt the alloy that they are normally made of these days.

    This is a great wee tap for the price. Easy to assemble.Only fault I can find is that it doesn’t come with isolation valves like I’ve had with others but that’s ok. What is great through is that it comes with a rightening key that I’ve never had before and made the job that much better.Overall, I would buy another one of these if I need.

    Yes the tap was fine but the plug diddent fit that sink. So was a bit miffed as y they would put the two items together, as I bought them together I couldn’t send it back. Pain in the backside, again.
