I bought this for my children for when we travel. I had a plastic version as a child & the appeal here is that the Solitaire game is made of wood. I will purchase more as gifts for other children as the presentation is fantastic. Received in a lovely box tied with a bow, a gift card from the company requesting you contact them if any issues (there are no issues) and also written instructions how to play the game. The game is well made and looks like it will accompany us on many holidays. This is a fantastic purchase & I will certainly look at other products from this company.

I bought this as an "unbirthday" present for my six-year old granddaughter whose older sister is having a birthday. I can't think of anything which would have given such good value for money and it is something she can keep forever as it is well-made and useful - I had watched her recently playing with my large table-top solitaire so I know she will like it. I did open it on receipt because other reviews suggested some of the pegs might need sanding, but everything is perfect.

Well made toy with sturdy little pegs. A great gift, this was for a 9 year old but really it would be a fab little gift for any age from 7 up, small parts would mean not for toddlers. I am going to add a small hook & eye at the side to keep the lid in place when travelling.

For something so small, essentially a children’s toy, it is so beautifully presented. The games itself is just what you expect for a game of solitaire but for me the fact that it Is completely made of wood was it’s main attraction . The box is nicely compact and the playing pieces fit well inside. It is then beautifully wrapped to form a gift anybody would be proud to give and delighted to receive.Purchased for a 12 year old but would suit all but very young children.
Un jeu ancien toujours aussi génial !
Un beau jeu de solitaire en bois clair avec des pions en bois de couleur rouge. La partie supérieure se coulisse afin de pouvoir ranger les pions a l’intérieur de la boîte. Du coup, le jeu est très facile à transporter. Une bonne idée pour remplacer les jeux vidéo du téléphone portable durant les trajets en voiture ! Pas de mal de tête, pas de nervosité ... juste un peu de réflexion et en plus, les parents seront d’accords 😉 La qualité est très belle et la taille parfaite. Je le recommande vivement !
