    This is a lovely little chess set, which I am very glad to own. The board folds in half to make a storage box in which all the pieces 'clip' into their own place for safe travel. I have a sneaky feeling I will pretty soon start ignoring this and obtain two drawstring bags to put the pieces in, just because I am a lazy person. The board and the pieces are really quite handsome, as good as one could reasonably expect for such an economical price. My only gripes (and they are small ones) is that first, in the particular set I have, the two halves of the board are not quite flush when open, and second, I wish the queen's crown was a little more distinctly carved. It doesn't affect play at all, but it really annoys my OCD soul! That said, I highly recommend this set, and the excellent service of package and delivery which comes from Jacques with it. I'll be keeping their catalogue....

    Molto soddisfatta dell'acquisto. La scacchiera è molto bella, è in legno e ben rifinita nei dettagli, e la stessa cosa vale anche per gli scacchi che una volta chiusa si fissano con degli elastici che tengono bene . Non ho trovato nulla che non andasse. Ottima qualità del materiale, buon rapporto qualità prezzo.Bella la confezione che include una scatola resistente chiusa con un nastro in stoffa ben applicato e quindi adatta ad un regalo .La consiglio.

    Realmente lo he comprado como segundo set para analizar variantes cuando estoy leyendo sobre una partida complicada. Es ideal. Muy bonito, práctico y buen precio. Tiene el encanto añadido de la marca "Jaques of London". Las piezas son muy ligeras y hay que moverlas con cuidado.

    J'ai offert ce plateau à Noël. L'emballage est élégant, parfait pour offrir, et de bonne qualité. Le produit est arrivé dans les délais et en parfait état. Le fait-main des pièces amène beaucoup de cachet, chacune d'entre elles semble unique. Dans le coffret, elles sont maintenues individuellement par un élastique : le tout est compact et peut voyager sans risque ! Le tout est si joli que nous ne le rangeons jamais au placard, il s'est intégré à la décoration du salon.

    Ich hatte das Schach-Set als Weihnachtsgeschenk für meinen Vater gekauft. Es kam zeitlich und gut verpackt an. Weder das Schachbrett, noch die Figuren zeigten Macken.Ich habe mich für dieses Set entschieden, da es mir sowohl preislich als auch vom Design im Vergleich zu restlichen Sortiment am besten gefallen hat.Das Brett lässt sich zusammenfalten und die Figuren kann man im Inneren sicher verstauen, um es auch unterwegs nutzen zu können. Ich würde eine etwas größere Variante zwar vorziehen, aber das ist persönlicher Geschmack.Versand und Qualität sind absolut top!

    Très bon article, je suis ravie de mon achat.Les pièces sont belles et légère, le plateau est très beau également.L’échiquier peut être emporté là où l’on veut dans problème puisque les pièces sont maintenues par des petits élastiques à l’intérieur du plateau.Je recommande !
