Even after reading some of the negative reviews I took the plunge to buy a truly wireless headset for the Xbox One. There is no dongle, syncs directly with the Xbox and you can even connect a Bluetooth device at the same time.The sound quality is amazing, you get a nice deep bass and they work perfectly with Dolby Atmos and Windows Sonic. The volume and chat volume is controlled by a dial so is a little more precise than using buttons and when at full volume the headset is loud, way more than needed. There is also a Superhuman Hearing function, when switched on the mid-range audio is given a boost making it easier to hear enemy movement. This is a dream for anyone playing Call of Duty of PlayUnknown’s Battlegrounds, you will be able to pinpoint the location of your enemy. You can also adjust the pre-set for the headset via the Turtle Beach Audio Hub app, it’s limited but still nice to have the option.The headset also has active noise cancellation, minimising the amount of background noise you will hear. When turned up you won’t hear anything, coupled with Dolby Atmos you truly get immersed into which ever game you are playing. Not just games though, watching movies through the headset is more immersive than a home surround sound system.The comfort of the headset is one of the best for a gaming headset. The Ear cups are soft rather than being made out of leather and fully enclose your ear. Very comfortable whilst wearing glasses as there is a recessed part that let the glasses arm sink into.All controls are on the headset. You get audio beeps and a voice telling you when the various functions have been activated or deactivated. The microphone flips down to unmute and then flips up to mute, slightly unconventional but it works, its works really well. It’s far easier flipping up the mic than fiddling around trying to find a mute button. So far I’ve had no complaints about the mic quality, team mates can hear me well.So far no connection issues with my headset, you do have to update it straight out of the box. This has to be done via a PC or mac and cannot be done via the app alone.Overall I am very happy with the headset and would recommend this to anyone and im guessing the PS4 version will be equally as good. It’s a shame it doesn’t come with a case as it does fall into the premium range. For the Xbox One version, not 1 wire in sight was amazing, I was shocked to have no wire to the controller for a change. The sound was amazing and clear, voice chat is good and it worked great on windows 10 (with an xbox controller adapter) and also on my mobile phone. The only downside I could find is the android app doesn't configure the headset as good as the windows version (using the charging cable).Overall I would absolutely recommend this headset, the comfort is good (I wear glasses too and it was fine) and it feels perfectly snug for clear sound.2020 update: a year on and this headset is great for sound but the mic isn't great if you don't speak loud. I talk quieter and people find it harder to hear me with this compared to other headsets.

I'm a casual gamer and This was my first pair of gaming headphones. I wanted wireless but didn't want anything cheap but didn't want to go too crazy with the price so I done a little research beforehand and narrowed it down to these or the Astro A50, Chose these in the end.So far so good!Positives- Comfortable - Had a few 4/5 hour sessions with these and not a single issue here. Ear cups are comfortable and there's plenty of adjustment depending on your head size- Good Mic - No issues with the Mic sound and it simply flips out when you want to use it then you can flip it back to mute it or turn it off. Comes in handy for me as the Mrs is constantly trying to shout stupid things down the mic lol. There's also mic feedback (you can hear yourself slightly when you talk) so you're not shouting all the time.- Wireless - works perfectly, takes literally 10 seconds out the box to sync them to your xbox then your good to go. When you switch them on it automatically switches on your Xbox. No issues so far with dropping connection etc (make sure you update the firmware before use, just plug into PC/Mac via usb and download the turtle beach software/app) Range is very good too, I can get up walk around, go into different rooms etc with no connection issues.- Bluetooth - Great feature! Connects to your phone/tablet at the same time so you can listen to music or take calls whilst playing, love it!- Charge time - 3hrs to fully charge it which is good, Recently I've been putting it on charge after each session so not sure what the battery life is like from full to empty judging by the battery gauge 8 hours with bluetooth on seems about right. It can be wired too if battery dies.Negatives- Build quality - Its not bad but could be better for the price. I can easily see these breaking if not properly taken care of. Should have come with a case at this price- Buttons & controls could be better placed - There's buttons & sliders located on the left for the controls but it takes a while to figure out the placement and I find myself turning the chat volume down accidentally instead of the game volume. Will take some getting used to- Sound - They sound good enough but personally I think it could be a little louder. I was expecting more of a deeper bass but the mids and treble are ok nothing special. Bare in mind I've only played ONE game with these so it could vary and I'm used to using good headphones for my music so its the only thing I can compare them to but again I wasn't blown away by the sound as other have said. The presets don't make much difference either. The "super human hearing" setting makes everything sound tinny and weird but I think it would work well with the right game.Active Noise Cancellation - (Activated by tapping the power button) Doesn't make any difference to me, however the headphones do a pretty good job of blocking out sound without it.Overall Thoughts:I'm happy with my decision so far would have given it a 5 if they'd have thrown a case or charging station in! It has pretty much everything you need in a headset at this price point. Bluetooth feature is a game changer, being able to listen to your own music while playing, knowing that you wont be missing any calls, messages or notifications makes for a more chilled out gaming experience.If you're looking for a set of wireless headset I don't think you need anything more than these unless you're a hardcore gamer who wants the best.

Bolo needs to take down older reviews as they don’t accurately reflect the current product.Initial impressions: Before purchasing, I was well aware of a little hurdle I needed to jump over by my making sure I updated latest firmware in order to insure optimal performance for Xbox one users.Upon receiving and unboxing, It was nice to see a sticker on the outside of the box indicating to update the headset before using, as all users might not be aware of this important step. All you need to do is visit turtlebeach.com/audiohub from Mac or pc and follow all on screen instructions. Once the headset was updated, it was time to pair it with the XboxPairing was easy. Just press Xbox sync button and then press and hold headset sync button. This can also be done in the other order as well. It quickly and automatically identified itself on Xbox dashboard with a nice notification “headset connected”Adjusting audio and chat was easy.There are two volume potentiometers on the left earcup and they are easy to access and adjust without looking. One is a chat volume and the other is master volume. Adjust to your liking.Boom mic features are awesome. When you move the boom mic From chat position to recessed position you get an auditory confirmation with a little non abrasive beep beep. The microphone provides a very clear high quality voice for people that are in your party or whoever you game with. Even higher quality than the official Xbox one stereo headset.Headset speaker sound quality for in game has gone beyond my expectations. It more than satisfies my needs for gaming. Supports windows sonic and Dolby Atmos for simulated surround sound. (I’ve only tested on Windows sonic) I intend to test out regular stereo because I believe you will get a higher quality sound with that setting. (Changing audio modes is done within Xbox one audio settings menu)Pairing Bluetooth with phone was a breeze and automatically reconnects every time you turn on the headset. It truly is such a nice feature.Advantages: Listen to any audio source from phone. You can adjust the volume of phone audio from the phone. All with the push of the Bluetooth button, You can receive and answer phone calls, activate voice recognition, send texts, ask Siri what the weather will be like tomorrow, pause music, fast forward, rewind etc Additionally when the phone rings, a built in ringtone sounds in the headset. If you decide to answer the call, press the Bluetooth button and the headset becomes a private phone call and you can no longer chat with your friends on Xbox live. You can still hear your friends and In game audio does continue to work, they just can’t hear you until you hang up or end the call.At first, when I played music from Apple Music, I was somewhat disappointed by the quality of sound that the headset was providing. I then decided to tinker with audio presets made available on the App Store audio hub app. I boosted treble and bass and found the music got much more full sounding. I also think super human hearing mode might’ve been on. Not positive though.Haven’t tested superhuman hearing yet. Seems like it’s just another audio preset ready to use at the press of a button on your headset. All other audio presets can be adjusted via the audio hub app.Battery life: supposedly 10 hours. Charges with micro usb. I haven’t gamed for ten hours ever but I’m sure it will withstand lengthy gaming sessions with ease. Battery life seems generous but as an extra measure I always plug my headsets, phones, controllers or any other battery operated device to ensure they’re always topped off for the next time I go to use them.Comfort level. These aren’t like a lazy boyFor your ears or anything but they’re comfortable. I have a pretty decently sized dome and they are slightly snug. Not too tight that they’ll give you a headache not too loose that they’ll fall off and break. Kinda like Goldilocks, just right. I do feel like my ears just about fit inside the cups so people with larger external pinnae aka ears might find these uncomfortable. As a reference, they Xbox stereo headset offers a bit more room and, Provides a bit more comfort.Also when you’re not gaming and need to take a break you can turn each cup 90 degrees and rest them around your neck as the cups rest on your upper chest.Turtle beach really packed in a bunch to this headset. It’s impressive.If you’re considering the 600 vs 700, I’d say spring for the 700 and enjoy the Bluetooth integration and all the great features that come along with it.Overall very nice headset.I was not given this headset for free or anything this is an honest review of a product I purchased with my cash money.However if Bolo wants me to provide honest reviews of any products theyd like me to thoroughly test, I would be more than happy to accept any offers.
Ottime come da tradizione turtle beach
Ho acquistato queste cuffie principalmente per usarle su xbox one s e rainbow six siege. In precedenza utilizzavo delle vecchie turtle beach ear force x31 che mi avevano sempre soddisfatto ma ormai, dopo 8 anni, erano logore e obsolete. La mia recensione è quindi in rapporto a questa precedente esperienza. Molti commenti criticano la qualità dei materiali, sinceramente non credo che altre cuffie sulla fascia di prezzo 125-150€ offrano materiali pregiati, è vero sono realizzate in plastica ma di buona qualità. I padiglioni sono ben aderenti e isolano molto bene dai rumori esterni, l'imbottitura confortevole presente anche sull'archetto mi ha permesso di utilizzarle anche per sessioni di qualche ora senza fastidi, il fatto di non avere fili porta quasi a dimenticarsi di averle in testa. Le cuffie si collegano alla console esattamente come il pad e, abbinate la prima volta, non dovrete fare altro che accenderle e si collegheranno sempre automaticamente. Inoltre si possono collegare via bluetooth allo smartphone, in questo modo è possibile ricevere in cuffia qualsiasi notifica, ascoltare musica, fare chiamate, gestire le impostazioni delle cuffie attraverso l'apposita app. Ho trovato l'audio in uscita dalle cuffie molto potente e dinamico, nettamente superiore a quello offerto dalle vecchie ear force, complice forse il miglior isolamento non è necessario tenere il volume principale a più del 50%. I preset dell' equalizzatore sono buoni e giocano sostanzialmente con la prevalenza dei toni bassi o alti. Utile in determinate situazioni il preset speciale superhuman earing che va ad appiattire i vari suoni, onestamente lo uso poco. Non ho ancora avuto modo di provare la durata della batteria, con anche la connessione bluetooth attiva dopo 4-5 ore sia l'xbox che lo smartphone indicavano circa metà della capacità residua. Unica nota negativa il monitoraggio del microfono, ossia la funzione di ripetere in cuffia la voce in ingresso al microfono, che è fin troppo settata sui toni alti con il risultato di sembrare poco naturale. Nel complesso comunque funziona bene e non ne pregiudica l'utilizzo.
Très bon casque polyvalent
J'utilise ce casque depuis une semaine, voici mes impressions :La première chose à faire au déballage de ce casque est de le connecter à votre PC grâce au câble fourni et de télécharger le logiciel Turtle Beach afin de procéder à la mise à jour du firmware.Ensuite l'appairage avec la Xbox One se fait facilement. Contrairement à d'autres acheteurs, je n'ai constaté aucune déconnexion ou coupure du son durant mon utilisation.Pour faire court, la qualité sonore de ce casque est très bonne. Le son est clair et plutôt chargé en basse (sans pour autant être fatiguant), ce qui est très agréable pour le gaming ou les films, et tout à fait convenable pour la musique.L'utilisation de Windows Sonic apporte un bel effet surround notamment dans les jeux d'action.La fonction Bluetooth est vraiment pratique et fonctionne parfaitement (testé avec smartphone et PC Windows 10) et le décalage du son est assez faible, ce qui permettra de regarder un film sur votre PC portable en profitant du sans fil.Concernant la batterie, la durée de 10h annoncée me parait exacte. L'autonomie peut même être légèrement augmentée si on désactive l'ANC.Le seul petit reproche concerne l'ANC qui n'est pas très efficace. Je ne m'attendais pas à une annulation du bruit de la qualité d'un casque Bose, mais je suis un peu déçu. Comme souvent avec les casques équipés d'ANC, le casque atténue surtout les bruits graves et réguliers (une ventilation par exemple) mais n'est pas très efficace avec les conversations et bruits plus aigus. Pour le prix cette fonction reste intéressante.Je suis donc très satisfait de mon achat et je recommande ce casque aux possesseurs de Xbox One qui veulent se faire plaisir avec un casque sans fil polyvalent et de qualité.
Krasser Allrounder !!
Ich hatte vor diesem headset das logitech g933 und es hat mich bis dato auch sehr zufriedengestellt, jedoch kam ich mir verarscht vor, dass ein 150 euro headset es nicht schafft ohne klinke mit der Xbox zu verbinden obwohl ein dongle dabei ist.. da mich dies sehr störte habe ich es zurückgeschickt und das stealth 700 gekauft. Dieses ist über xbox-dongle am pc, über die controller pair taste an der xbox und per bluetooth am handy anzuschließen. Dies geht mit Handy und xbox auch gleichzeitig, was mehr als geil ist, da ich beim zocken gerne musik höre und der seltsame klang durch superhuman hearing somit nicht auf die Musik einwirkt, die übers handy kommt. Ausserdem hat man am handy eine zusätzliche lautstärkeregelung. Game sound und sprach chat hat verschiedene regler was auch beim g933 nicht der fall ist. Die beklagten verbindungsprobleme kann ich absolut nicht bestätigen, sofern man sich das neuste firmwareupdate, was sehr einfach zu installieren ist, runterlädt. Auch die verbindung mit bluetooth mit der app ist super ! Alle funktionen steuerbar auf einen blick. Auch der akkustand des headsets ist sichtbar und der akku reicht auch für mehrere lange gamesessions. Wenn das headset einmal gekoppelt ist verbindet es sich auch automatisch mit xbox und handy. Auch der bluetooth modus bleibt an, wenn man das headset ausmacht und der modus bereits aktiviert war. Superhuman hearing bringt bei schritten echt viel und ist über eine taste am headset einstellbar. Das headset blendet umgebungsgeräusche sehr großflächig aus, aber dagegen anschreien muss man nicht, da das headset einem über das mikrofon den eigenen ton einspielt. Auch diese lautstärke ist über die app steuerbar. Das headset hat lederohrmuscheln, wovon ich eigentlich bzgl des tragkomforts kein fan bin, jedoch wirkt es hochwertig und hat einen ledergeruch am anfang, warum ich davon ausgehe dass es echtleder sein könnte. Die ohrmuscheln sind für meine ohren gerade so groß genug, da hätte ich mir schon etwas größere gewünscht damit das headset ohne probleme die ohren umschließt und umgebungsgeräusche besser cancelt ohne viel rumzufummeln. Auch die gesamtanmutung des headsets ist eher wenig blendend, wenn man vorher ein top bequemes und erstklassig designtes/verarbeitetes logitech g933 mit beleuchtung hatte, und nun ein schwarzgrünes headset ohne licht hat. jedoch ist das headset rundum robust und wirkt auch auf den zweiten blick nicht so billig wie zu beginn. Es kann wenigstens alles wichtige mit connection (auf einem hohem niveau) und es ist ein klangwunder. Hätte es nun noch stoffohrmuscheln oder zumindest die option solche dazuzukaufen und etwas größere ohrmuscheln, wäre dieses headset wirklich perfekt. Aber das ist auch jammern auf hohem niveau.. ich habe dieses headset für 100 euro erworben und zum (auch im angebot) gleichteurem logitech g933 ist es garkein vergleich. Sowohl klangtechnisch als auch bzgl der wireless lösungen. Gerade diese makellose allround konnektivität überzeugt mich hierbei, da ein objekt was man täglich mehrere stunden benutzt dies schon möglichst einfach anbieten muss. Ich bin top zufrieden mit dem headset und kann es nur jedem empfehlen, der keine 200 euro für ein headset ausgeben will. Ich weiß auch nichts, ausser das design, was einen mehrpreis zu diesem headset noch rechtfertigen könnte..
