    The humidor looks and feels good but unfortunately the hygrometer was broken, i'm waiting for the seller to contact meUpdate: The seller has sent me a brand new product which make me think that he takes good care of customers. I recommend the humidor for somebody that is a novice in cigar world, good quality for the price!

    I was pleasantly surprised with the quality of this humidor for saying its one of the cheapest on Bolo. Very well made. Looks lovely. I can't comment whether it's genuine Spanish cedar but it's definitely unvarnished smooth cedar, very nicely made. Eats up distilled water really well for seasoning.Notes on size:Fits exactly 12 large cigars, such as the Hoyo de monterrey epicure no.2's shown in my picture, but only just! Had to diagonally stack the bottom 7 and lay the top 5 across them, being careful not to crush any with the humidifier or lipped edges of the lid. Would be suited to less than 10 really.The humidifier and hygrometer are both magnetically fixed to the lid, so you can move them around. I assume there is a magnetic panel built into the lid which is impressive. I assumed they would just be stuck in place, but no.Notes on humidifier:It's the silica gel beads type and comes with several beads in it, though there did not seem to be enough in there so I added more. This was a mistake as the included silica beads swell up to be HUGE after about 10 mins soaking in distilled water, the size of marbles or large peas. I now have to squash mine a bit to get the lid screwed onto the humidifier. I'm sure they will do a great job.Notes on hygrometer:This lovely little brass hygrometer is also magnetically attached to the lid so you can move it around. The humidor came with a note in it with basic instructions for seasoning and stated that the hygrometer did not require any adjustment as it was calibrated at the factory. This was not the case as a 12 hour salt test only got the hygro to about 62%. It should be 75% on the dot. Luckily, the hygro is adjustable if you use a tiny pokey tool through the holes in the back to spin the white plastic needle mount to the correct position. So it should read true after calibration.Notes on testing the humidor:It's clear the lid has a quite good seal as the lid fairs well in the "whoosh" test where the lid does not slam shut, indicating the air struggles to escape the box as the lid closes.Unfortunately, a flashlight test revealed a thin sliver of light escaping along the back edge, indicating a poor seal along that edge.This was confirmed with a dollar bill test using a 1" x 5" strip of printer paper. It was very hard to pull out along the front and side edges, indicating a good seal. But it was much easier to pull out along the back edge.To solve this problem with the seal, I applied some strips off 1mm thick by 5mm wide adhesive foam all the way around the edges of the lid. This makes the lid harder to close as it squashes into the foam, creating an excellent seal.That leaky back edge and poorly set hygrometer are my only criticisms of this lovely little humidor. It certainly looks the part and will serve well to store and transport my favourite occasion cigars to weddings, which is the only time I really smoke them.Hope this helps.

    This is just what I hoped for. Simple, beautiful and functional. As you can see it holds the humidity well, looks smart and has plenty of space for the occasional smoker. Over the moon with the purchase.

    Great little humidor that could be used for travel if required. Room for a small collection of cigars, and just enough room for Boveda 60g holder and digital hygrometer. Looks far more expensive than it actually is and fits nicely on a shelf in my office. The hygrometer that is supplied is reasonably accurate to within +\- 5% but I always prefer the accuracy of digital. Gold effect hinges and latch are surprisingly well made and sturdy. Overall would definitely give this 5 stars as an entry level or supplementary/travel humidor.

    I bought this for a friend as a easy storage method. I gotta say, for the price this is a great product.. I’m waiting for mine to arrive any day now. Well worth the price, and works well in some “extreme” humid conditions. 🥶🔥🇨🇦

    Humidor kam schnell und gut verpackt an. Kleines Produktvideo auf Youtube vorhanden.Alles so gemacht und es funktioniert gut. Hygrometer ist etwas dürftig, und nicht sehr genau. Hatte noch einen besseren vorrätig. Ansonsten sieht der Humidor gut aus und für den Preis echt okay.
