This stuff is the absolute best if your brows are thin or non existent. Other products are designed to colour your brow hairs, which just doesn’t work if you don’t have any! This gel is easy to apply and it lasts at least 48hours as long as you don’t wash / rub your brows. If you’ve got dark skin, go for the black/brown or black one. The medium brown ones can sometimes look orangey on dark skin. Honestly, don’t waste your money on other products. This one is the best.

I'm not an eyebrow person. Whenever I've tried to pencil more prominent brows in, I feel ridiculous. And yet with a few grey eyebrow hairs and a tail that disappears, I'm always looking for a solution.Reviews of this product intimidated me. The only God send of my previous pencil disasters were that I could rub them off. What if I looked ridiculous for days with this product?But I really like it. Here's some things other reviews don't mention / tips.Don't worry so much about the colour you choose. Just hope for the best. If you have light skin and seemingly dark brown or black eyebrows, just go brown black. It's not got the warm pigment in it so many others have, but it will be too dark. More on that later.For your first application, just paint the exact shape of your brow. Don't go extra extra. Learn how to use it first. It comes out like gel paint and will sit proud on your brow. Don't try and over work the product through your hairs to get to your skin. That said, persevere to get a good even coating.You don't need to rush. You'll have time to paint over your brows and go back in with a cotton bud to remove over exuberant edging.First time I left it an hour. Since then I don't care so much about how long it's on. 30 minutes, an hour. Whatever time you've got.Peel it off from the outer edge. Depending on how stingy you were with the product it may come off in bits. Don't freak out. It'll be too dark if you're not used to eyebrow makeup.Bonus!!!! It covers stray, grey eyebrow hairs.Now. Calm down. Everything is going to be ok. Grab yourself a cotton pad and some eye makeup remover, or a face wipe, or some toner, and start to lighten it off. Work those brows until they look normal to you.Next time you apply, experiment with those edges if you want to change their shape. This would be the time to ensure your brows are clean from shaping gel, you don't have oily moisturiser on, and you work the product to ensure its edged more thickly.If you are changing their shape, it is better to leave the product on longer and lighten it off after than peel and reveal a stain too light to communicate 'new eyebrow boundaries'Don't be stingy with this. Accept the fact it's a tiny product that you will likely replace quicker than your other makeup. I'm using mine once a week and have had 4 goes. Still seems like plenty left for another 4 applications but hard to tell.The photo I've used was after the process AND my lightening off with makeup remover to try and leave it more natural.

I really love this. I did it over a weekend last night when I didn’t really have plans in case it turned out bad! I am blonde with barely there brows and I bought medium brown after looking at the pictures. The shade is perfect for me! Easy to apply, left on for 2 hours (leave on 20 mins for 1 day of brows) so it should last up to 3 days as stated on the box. However, I have taken my makeup off today, nothing on brows but went over them with my face wipe anyway to remove any dirt and they have now faded! I expected to get more than a days wear out of them and wouldn’t think a face wipe would remove it so easily seeing as it’s supposed to be waterproof. Therefore 4 stars not 5 but will keep using as it saved me time this morning not having to fill in my brows

Does what it says but doesn't last very long. Maybe if you layer it on, then peel, then layer, then peel etc it may stay longer but I feel you'll just end up with black brows... it just lasts a day, and ends up washing away with your daily facial routine. Nice to keep your brows dark but it is something you have to keep doing every day or 2.

Hey guys this is an honest review! The first pic is with the product still on the left brow and peeled off on the right, I tried to do an ombre effect so it's less blocky and more natural looking. And in the second pic are my natural brows (forgot to take a pic so this is a random one I have in my cam roll. Please note that my hair is very fine and it's taken years to grow out).Pros: Accidentally left it on for 45+ mins and didn't go ridiculously dark, then again I didn't pile it on heavily. The more product you put on, the darker it comes out. It actually temporarily stains your skin to give the illusion of brows. And I'm an Asian with barely there brows I have to draw them on every single day and it's a pain in case I wipe them off LOL, having to constantly check if they're still on during a night out is a whole new kind of anxiety. So this is amazing for something temporary and super quick to shape too, I used an aged brush after using the one that it came with to smoothen out the edges and spread a bit.Cons: It didn't peel off in one go, it would only if use a good amount of the product, so I spent a bit picking out all the tiny bits on the hairs and skin of the leftover product. A little patchy but then again, I didn't lather it on. I think if I keep rubbing it it WILL fade so I'm going to see if it lasts my face in the pillow all night as usually I'd have no brows by the morning time. Does take a bit of a waiting time for the product to work, the longer the better but not too long!Forgot to say this colour is black brown. Even though my Asian hair is black I feel like a slightly lighter colour would work best and also you can just make it thick/leave on for even darker brows. I can't imagine that the jet black would look very natural for my skin tone+hair unless you have dyed jet black hair. ALSO haven't washed my face yet so can't so about it being waterproof but I'm sure if you just don't rub it would last tbh and I'm going on a spa day soon so will update if I remember. Both times I’ve ordered this tint, it has stained me a horrible green colour. I thought the first one may have been defective, hence the second purchase - however the second one has done the exact same thing again. From looking at the other reviews, seems like this is a common problem.

I really liked how this product worked: It temporarily tints the skin so eyebrows look less dense. I have some bald patches and this made this less noticeable. Too bad Maybelline does not make the product any more.
90's Girls, Rejoice!
This story begins when, as a teenager in the 90's, I foolishly followed the thin brows trend. Let me tell you-- when you overpluck your eyebrows repeatedly over several years, they just don't grow back. My particular problem area is the outer part of my brows, which don't come anywhere near where they should end, giving me a very severe look when not filled in.Now, I've paid money to professionals to tint my brows and usually get a week or two out of each session before they fade and I need to start filling them in again. These sessions aren't cheap and they can be difficult to fit into my busy schedule. During the last such session, I lay there thinking, "You know, all you really need for this is a steady hand and the right product." I already had the steady hand, so I just needed the product.So, here we are. I can't even begin to tell you how much money I will save now that I've discovered this brow tint. The day I received it, I decided to just go for it and let it sit for the full 2 hrs that they recommend if you want 3-day coverage. I had a little fun with my family passing off the dark painted-on gel as my "new look" as I went about my household business. Finally, after two hours, I peeled off the hardened gel and instantly cursed at myself for the hundreds of dollars I have spent for the same result from professionals over the years. Sure enough, I got a full 3 days out of that first application.This product is a godsend for 90's girls who are now living with thin or non-existent brows thanks to the ill-advised beauty trends of their teenage years and don't want to spend a fortune on professional tinting or permanent makeup. It's an absolute bargain.
