The DNA collected with this kit, when processed by the laboratory, will confirm the genetic relationship between a grandchild and their grandparents.
This can be used to test paternity when the alleged father is not available by testing his parents and the child.

This grandparent DNA test offers absolute peace of mind with accurate results available within 5 working days of receipt of samples. We test 18 loci to ensure the highest level of accuracy.
With easy to follow instructions, samples can be collected at home and analysed by a fully accredited laboratory to test 2 grandparents and 1 child.
The sample collection kit contains 6 x sterile mouth swabs (2 swabs for each participant), welcome letter, step-by-step sample collection instructions, client registration form, consent form and return envelope.
The kit is sent in plain packaging for confidentiality and discretion.
Instructions
Collect cheek cells by rolling the tip of the sample collection swab firmly on the inside of the right cheek and under the tongue for about 30 seconds. Be certain to move the swab over the entire inner cheek surface. This action should be firm but not aggressive and should not be uncomfortable. Light pressure is adequate. This procedure is totally painless, even for young babies and children. Repeat this process for the same individual with the second swab.
Repeat the process for all individuals being tested using a different set of swabs and envelope for each person.
Finally, place all of the swab envelopes, plus the completed consent form, into the return envelope. Then simply return to us.
