5.0 out of 5 stars Worth it!
After days and days of research I decided to buy a Pro breeze. First was the 12L one, after a week I've noticed a bigger one would be better for our studio and I got the 20L one. Both are good, does what they are supposed to do collecting water and keeping the humidity down. I've noticed that our flat is more warmer than it was before, it doesn't need to turn the heat on so often, no mould in the one of the corner which it used to be with this problem. The windows still wet in the morning after a very cold night but I wipe them with a dry cloth and I also have thick curtains and there's no air over night. The machine is not on during the night because is noisy, even on sleep mode I can hear it with the ear plugs on. The 12L one is more silent.Good value for money, everything works fine, the timer, it stops when full, dry clothes fast, the tank easy to empty, and nice design. Not sure about how much electricity consumed because I haven't noticed a major difference. Maybe £1 a day or less.Still give 5 stars even if is noisy because I'm very happy with it and I don't know how I lived in UK so many years without it. Is part of my life now and I'm very excited. Thanks to tik tok because there I've saw it for the first time.
5.0 out of 5 stars Efficient and Reliable Dehumidifier
This is my second one, works like a charm, quickly reducing humidity, It’s quiet, easy to use, and perfect for maintaining a fresh, dry space.
5.0 out of 5 stars Great dehumidifier
This works great and not too noisy, we have been surprised how much water it collected overnight. Drying clothes indoors during the winter is no longer a condensation issue.
4.0 out of 5 stars Quite noisy, but works well
We discovered we have damp problems in some of the north facing parts of our home. Where furniture was close to walls, we found some mould had started. After a bit of research, one way of dealing with this situation is to lower the humidity in your home. I checked humidity around our house and in found in some locations it was very high.I wanted an all-home unit so I didn’t need to move it about or have to buy 2, but didn’t want to pay more than about £200, and began checking reviews. It wasn’t an easy search as it seems every single make and model had customers reporting problems and recommending something else. I found by following these recommendations you just end up in a circle of never finding anything suitable and eventually getting referred back to where you started.Reviews seemed to be better on the £300+ models and really high-end industrial ones, but even those have their fair share of people reporting issues. I don’t have the space for the really large units and I didn’t have time to mess about. I resigned myself to the fact that whatever I would buy it may have issues and just went with what best fitted me.I got a good impression of the Pro Breeze company, from YT videos and some of the customer reports of dealing with them. I also liked that some reviews spoke about them as a British based company, although I later found a small Made in China sticker on the back of my unit. British owned I guess, but I’m not even sure about that.I very nearly went with the Pro Breeze 20L model. I switched to getting this 30L model at the last second for a few reasons. One was that the price was almost the same. Another was a US YT video which recommended you only buy units rated above 25L. The final reason was I found out the 30L model was a much newer model of theirs compared to the 20L.I had previously read about leakage problems with the 20L and so (cross fingers) I gambled Pro Breeze would have learnt from this and sorted the leak issues on the newer model.I’m not using any of the app stuff, so I can’t comment on that. The unit works great as it is and I can control everything I want from the panel built-it. On its first day of use it gathered about 1L and I then shifted it around the house until I realised that placement made a big difference. The most I’ve got out of it was 3L in a day, but I’m only running it about 8-12Hrs a day, not constantly and not every day. I always just set it to auto, so it just keeps going until it thinks it is 50% and then stops.I purchased two humidity monitors at the same time and setup one at the top and bottom of our stairs. I check these daily and they are often quite different, with either the upstairs of down being the more humid. Sometimes by up to 20% difference.I’ve used this dehumidifier about a month now and I’ve kind of fallen into a routine of running it a couple days and then waiting until a monitor shows humidity on the high side, then moving the unit either up or down the stairs and running it for a couple of days. Humidity then tends to be fine for a while and couple of days later I may need to use it again. By doing things in this way I’ve managed to keep levels below low 60s around the house. What I like about it:+ I like how powerful it is and it gets lots of water out of the air.+ I like how the dehumidified air exits on one side, so you can for example set up on the landing and fire the dried air into a bedroom.+ I like the simple controls (this was a big part of buying it after seeing the demo on YT)+ It hasn’t leaked for me and the extraction of the drip tray is easy to do.What I didn’t like about it:- Wow is this thing heavy! If you are not a big bloke you may struggle to carry this up/down stairs.- It makes a lot of noise when in use. It is a combination of air con and an industrial fridge noise at the same time (well that is kind of what it is after all). You do get used to the sound after a while, but I wouldn’t run this near you when you are trying to sleep.- I knew this before buying, but the fan runs all the time it is on, even when it is ‘off’ because the room has reached its target humidity. On that fan issue, be careful of people warning you off units where the fan keeps running. There are different technologies in play between units and having the fan run all the time is not always an indication the manufacturer doesn’t know what they are doing and left it running by accident. I think it is something to do with preventing ice build up. Which may be the cause of leaks on models where the fan stops?I’m going to give this 4-stars. It does everything I expected it to do and I haven’t had any issue with it (yet). However, it is a lot noisier than I was expecting. I can put up with the noise for the results it achieves, but be aware of that trade off.
5.0 out of 5 stars Pro Breeze 30L dehumidifier
This is an excellent dehumidifier. It replaces an Ebac model which stopped working. I wasn’t sure if I was going to get on with this one as I have had Ebac machines for years & years, however I love it! It works really well & has made our house, which is an old single brick house, warmer. It isn’t the quietest dehumidifier out there, noisier than the Ebac, but very efficient. In the first 3 days of using it I had to empty the water container every day. The instructions are woeful, but there is a QR code which takes you to the instructions, unfortunately the QR took me to the WRONG instructions. The display was totally different to my machine. I had to go onto the manufacturers website, where I managed to work out which machine mine is & downloaded the correct instruction manual (such as it is). It has now been working for a few weeks & I am very pleased with it. The filter is easily cleaned & emptying the water container is also easy. At a great price too
5.0 out of 5 stars Quiet, effective, portable.
I’ve been battling Ireland’s relentless humidity, and this dehumidifier has been a game-changer. In a closed room with three small windows, it works perfectly—no more sweaty windows in the morning! The sleep mode and timer are fantastic for nighttime use: it’s quiet, automatically turns off, and all the lights go off too, so there’s nothing distracting while you sleep. Plus, it’s compact and super easy to move around the room thanks to the wheels. If you’re tired of fighting the damp, this is your secret weapon.
5.0 out of 5 stars Phenomenal
Absolutely superb, it's relatively quiet and on auto it turns on and off as required, and draws out a full tank in 4 days. No damp windows or mould in the room now. Really happy and surprised how much water it draws from the air.
5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing at drying clothes!
I purchased this dehumidifier for the clothes drying mode to dry clothes quickly in the winter (as we don’t have a tumble dryer in our house). This function is amazing! It dried the clothes so fast compared to our old one, we were absolutely shocked. The fan on the unit moves up and down to improve air flow and it is very well made and looks incredibly professional.Absolutely worth every penny! Wish I’d bought it sooner!
Very efficient
Excellent for humidity and also for dry clothes inside the house. It doesn't consume a lot of energy so it won't affect much in the electricity bill. I absolutely recommend it.
A recommander
+La machine tourne presque 24h sur 24h chez nous. Elle marche bien jusqu'au présent. Grand bac de réservoir c'est suffisant pour la nuit entier. Les bruits sont raisonnables.-Le tuyau fourni est tres court
It's unbelievable how much water this machine removes
We moved to a new apartment suffering from some major damp issues that had been all but impossible to rectify by the previous occupants and because a lot of building work had been done before we moved. A week of running our Pro Breeze and we can see, visually, day by day the moisture literally being sucked out of the atmosphere and the walls drying out.The unit is relatively easy to use (a little temperamental on starting again after being emptied sometimes) and makes no more noise than a standard fridge. It's relatively unobtrusive (although we do have a large living space) and as it can easily be wheeled from place to place it can be hidden. The hope is we move to a more humidity maintenance program within another week, as the majority of the moisture should have been eradicated by then. For the moment, it's living up to the 20L removal statistic on a daily basis. The 5.5L tank is very helpful for that.If you need to manage moisture/humidity - this is a good buy.
