Purchased this for my Dad as he owns his own business and I wanted him to have this just in case for his protection. The bat is lightweight and we have placed it behind the counter. It would be a good deterrent and has replaced our old worn out one. Overall, this is a nice lightweight bat. If purchasing for sports purposes, it is easy to grip and the design is simple.
