I've had these thread snips for about a year and I don't know how I sewed for so long without them. Absolutely love them for several reasons:1 - They are dead easy to just pick up and use by feel so don't interupt the flow of your sewing.2 - Because you hold them so close to the cutting zone, it makes you much less likely to accidentally snip something you didn't intend to.3 - I've stopped using my teeth to nip thread ends. Dentist approves!4 - They make a nice clean cut which makes needle threading easier.Definitely recommend.

The listing prominently shows a photo that suggests these snips can cut through a large thread. I found they could not.First impressions are the blades are quite sharp and provide a good scissor action. Try cutting a thick thread or cotton wool and the frame is not rigid enough to keep the blades correctly aligned. The plastic is reminiscent of the PLA filament used with 3D printers and it breaks very easily. For £5, I wish I'd gone for one quality item instead of two inadequate ones.

I have been using my sewing machine a lot lately. Made some kitchen curtains and a lot of fabric face masks for family and friends. I watch a lot of online videos to give me tips and ideas and I saw someone using one of these to cut their thread. Have to say it looked a lot quicker than having to pick up a pair of scissors and it is. Its so quick and easy to use. Its very sharp so you get a good clean cut, which is ideal when you need to thread a needle. They are metal, well made and you get two! Recommended.

Je les attendais. Enfin, j'ai dû faire uneautre commande.mais bon , indispensable pour couper les fils après la couture. J'ai un coupe fil après ma machine à coudre, mais pas très efficace. Alors j'utisisais mes longs ciseaux pour couper le tissu, pas idéal non plus. Là, impeccable ! Je recommande cet article. Je sais pas combien de temps il va bien couper, mais ce n'est que du fil donc je parie sur la longévité. Achetepar 2 , ce qui fait le coupe fil pas cher. Le deuxième je le donnerai à mon fils qui fait aussi de la couture
