I saw that this Lego model was due to be retired in the near future.Bolo had the model on special offer so I decided to get it.I knew I’d taken on a challenge when the package was delivered - it was quite some size. One large box contained 4 smaller boxes of components.The building instructions were broken down into 17 sections. Each section had several packets of Lego components that needed to be assembled in turn.It was good to see the model gradually being assembled until it was finally constructed.It took around 2 weeks for me to construct the model, building a bit each day but the end result was worth it.It’s an amazing model.

What a set to own and build. This set is so detailed and looks fantastic. It's very sturdy given the size of it but I need to get a display stand now! Be prepared to spend 20+ hours on this build.

this thing is huge and worth every penny, if you are on the fence like i was, take the leap, you wont be disappointed, took over a week to build doing many hours on an evening (some late nights too).All the bags are numbered , make sure you sort out your bags as there are many and its easy to miss one.this kit needs a large space to build it, a decent sized dining table or similar .

This has to be the best set I've ever made yes it's expensive but it's worth it I worked on it a couple hours a night and it took me 5 weeks to complete I've gave it 5 stars because it's that good i can't fault it at all i recomend this set for anyone who likes star wars or just anyone who likes lego it's fantastic. If you buy this set i do think you should get the stand to go with it it makes the millennium falcon look even better. i will say one last thing if you do buy this set take your time with it and enjoy

Ce produit je l'ai acheté pour mon fils pour Noël, juste dommage on l'a reçu un mois après. Mais beaucoup de plaisir à le faire, il manquait une petite pièce pour avancer, il a fallu qu'on l'a commande à nos frais.

Es ESPECTACULAR. Vale cada céntimo que cuesta. La experiencia es inigualable: manual de instrucciones extenso, detallado, sin lugar a confusión (pero que tampoco te toma por tonto, se supone cierta experiencia). Embalaje perfecto y transporte impecable, llegada un día antes de lo previsto. Tienda recomendadísima 10/10!!
The Ultimate Challenge
This thing is huge. Photos do not do it justice. You Tube videos don’t do it justice. I’m 65, in a wheelchair, no feeling in my right hand and no lift in either shoulder. I did my first Lego 10 weeks earlier (the UCS R2-D2). Challenge accepted.The instruction book is beautiful, and must be a not insignificant part of the price, but it is too large and unwieldy. I used the pdf instructions on my iPad. I notice subsequent large builds employ multiple smaller books.Once you have sorted the bags and worked out a strategy for separating the bricks in each step, away you go. You start off with a very solid internal frame made mostly from Lego beams; feet; internal rooms, 2 very detailed; side frames; front mandibles; lower cladding; air lock tunnels; lower gun turret; upper cladding; cockpit; upper gun turret. Your finished.I gave myself a month to do it and took 27 days. With my disability I needed assistance to place a few panels, but not many. If I was designing it I would do some things differently. The mandibles are not supported adequately. Most of the upper cladding is held by one pin or gravity alone. The start of the build is precise and solid. The finish of the build is detailed but fragile with a somewhat sloppy feel. Initially I was disillusioned with the finish but it has grown on me. It is undeniably impressive. It demands attention.It was definitely worth the investment in time and money. Now I’ve just got to find somewhere to put it.
