When this arrived I thought it was smaller than expected, despite using the new (and quite fun) virtual 'view in your room' facility to size it up. It is 7ltr but wow only just! the 7th-litre marker is right on the rim of the pot! So I'm never going to fill it that full and might be in the market for the next size up if I'm cooking for parties of 8-12 people. However, for the 4 of us, it makes plenty to eat that day and freeze for later. This replaced an old pot that didn't work on our ceramic induction hob and so never got used. My worry was would it work? The answer is yes! It heats up very fast despite the solid (but not heavy) base and the heat is evenly dispersed. It cleans easily and is so stainless we've even used it for stove-top clothes dying. When we bought ours it was £52 now it's £35.99 so good value. Might buy another one.

The pot is big and seems to be good quality but be careful when handling the lid when cooking as the knob gets very hot.I would have give 5 stars but only 4 as I burned myself with the lid.

It’s Soup season!This pot is the perfect all in one soup pot. You need to precook some of the veggies, do it in this pot. You need to make stock, do it in this pot. You want to make tasty soup, DO IT IN THIS POT.It’s my latest favourite kitchen addition and in its short life, it’s seen more soups than I care to admit to.Just buy it :D

This has been ideal for making large quantities of jam and soup. It will also be good for preserving jars of tomatoes too. Deep enough to cover the jars. A great addition to my kitchen cookware.

We bought one Penguin pan we liked, so we bought three more. Two of them were a waste of money due to the poor quality. So buy at your own risk.The Stock Pot has been a good purchase so far, as it's of a decent size and is holding together. We bought another two pots from Penguin, which didn't do so well.So, despite this one working out, I would not recommend buying anything from this manufacturer.

If you like mashed potatoes, be prepared for having scratches.Lid doesn’t sit well on the brim, but I can live with that.

Nach dem 2. Gebrauch hat der Topf innen kleine schwarze Punkte, die sich nicht entfernen lassen. Was ist das? Schlechtes Material oder? Bitte antworten sie mir.

Enttäuschend !
Der Topf ist dicht und erfüllt seinen Zweck. Aber das ist selbstverständlich, weshalb es dafür keinen Stern gibt. Ansonsten enttäuschende Material- bzw. Verarbeitungsqualität. Die Griffe (auch am Topfdeckel) werden beim Kochen heiss und sind ziemlich scharfkantig, weshalb sie beim Tragen des befüllten Topfes unangenehm drücken. Die Qualitätskontrolle scheint zumindest bei meinem Exemplar versagt zu haben: der Deckelgriff ist nicht mittig angebracht worden - siehe Foto. Ich gehe mal davon aus, dass es sich hierbei nicht um ein bewusstes gestalterisches Merkmal, sondern um einen Produktionsmangel handelt.
