5.0 out of 5 stars High-Quality Ingredients, Picky Cat Finally Came Around!
I was initially drawn to Lily's Kitchen Adult Dry Cat Food because of the top-notch, natural ingredients—it’s packed with everything I want for my cat’s health. However, when I first introduced it, she flat-out refused to eat it, and we had a bit of a battle for a few days.Thankfully, after some persistence, she finally started eating it, and now she seems to enjoy it. If you have a picky eater like mine, it might take a bit of time for them to adjust, but the quality of this food is definitely worth the wait!
5.0 out of 5 stars Great cat food
My cat loves it and he's gaining weight, something that we couldn't reach when he was eating Royal Canin.
5.0 out of 5 stars expensive, but seems good quality
Only arrived today, but my cat already seems to love them. She already had a bunch of Whiskas biscuits in her bowl which she was clearly bored of, but devoured these ones quickly.I also bought the tins, smooth pate and fillets to try. Just a shame its now all owned by Nestle
4.0 out of 5 stars Dropped a grade in quality under new ownership
Lily's Kitchen transferred their business to private equity firm Catterton who then sold it to Nestlé.Nestlé changed the best, and most expensive, cat biscuits into just another brand of premium-priced cat biscuits. I'll tell you how I know: I tasted them out of curiosity. The Nestle era ones are darker, harder, pong more, and when I tasted them they have more of the ordinary filler type taste other cat biscuits have. Lily's biscuits used to taste more like concentrated meat stock, that I could eat as treats... if it were not for the fact that they are expensive and I already trust my glossy hair to Timotei. The positive is, the cat still likes it more than its wet food. But then, it liked Arden Grange, Thrive and once upon a time Ava grain free biscuits, slightly less but they are all so much cheaper. Sometimes you even heard them being chewed.Lily's cat biscuits are no longer top or on my subscription. I was prepared to pay twice the price per kilo for it than other grain free brands when it was indisputably the best, but it seems to me the search for higher profit margin and lowering the quality risks running this brand into the ground.
5.0 out of 5 stars Beware the fish one
I've always had cats in the house so was really surprised to find the our latest rescue had no interest in food at all.You give her wet and she would only eat the gravy. Dry, not interested. I tried all different types of dry and she would only eat a little bit. I began to wonder if she was being fed elsewhere and I wondered how on earth she was going to survive on so little food.I decided to try Lily's Kitchen as a last resort, before a trip to the vet for a check-up. Absolute success! She still a slow eater and it takes her all day to eat the half of what a normal cat would eat but she does eat every single bit. That in itself is a major breakthrough as up until trying this I always had to throw away food at the end of the day.It is expensive, but this food is up to 70% meat so I guess you are paying for Premium ingredients. It's a few months now since she started on this, and her fur is glossy and shiny.Very happy with this and have now bought other flavours to try. This review was for chicken casserole. It's expensive but would recommend. The next review is for the fish flavour. The fish food smells absolutely disgusting. When you walk into the room it actually makes you heave.I'm not going to give this to my cat.
5.0 out of 5 stars My cat loves it
This is literally the only food that my cat eats. An this is one of those rare cases where the use of the word "literally" is literally correct. It is good value for money as well
5.0 out of 5 stars CATS GO MAD FOR THIS!
We have tried every type of food on the market for our cats and this is the only one they both love!We have been buying this for 2 years now and our cats love it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best cat food I've ever tried
Since I've adopted my two cats, I always try to give them the best food I can afford. From years and years of experience raising cats, I know how important it is to provide them a grain-free and meat-rich diet. After testing many brands, I can tell that Lily's Kitchen is the best one I've bought so far for my cats. The nutritional content is very good and I really appreciate that, besides grains, it is also free from artificial colouring, which is bad for cats' kidneys on a long term. They both seem to really like the flavour - one of my cats, who has never been too much into dry food, absolutely loves it! I've also noticed a difference on them - since switching to this food, their fur has been softer and shinier. It's not the cheapest option, that is true, but I would highly recommend buying this to make sure your cats have a healthy and tasty diet. Will be buying Lily's Kitchen for mine for the foreseeable future.
