I bought this for riding on my motorbike during unfavorable weather so I specifically wanted something warm, waterproof and would provide protection to my neck from chilly winds. The Rotto balaclava is made from different materials that allow me and my head to breathe, but with a neck front that is virtually impervious to air providing good frontal neck protection from chilly winds. The only small downside is the mask insert that can make it more difficult to breathe after wearing it for a while, but you don't have to use the insert and then it's fine.The balaclava is also impervious to water which just runs of it and was a comfortable fit for my head, which is larger than average. The different materials that make up the balaclava are also very well sewn together with high quality stitching. Overall I found the Rotto balaclava to be well designed, good quality, waterproof and comfortable.

Nice design keeps 98% of cold out. I'm only draw back with this is it feels too much like a mask and isn't very breathable in the mouth section.

The media could not be loaded. I do quite a lot of outdoor sports, some when it's quite cold. I bought this for a specific use, blokarting, which is a form of sailing on land. I used it in earnest for the first time today, and I was stunned at how well it worked, in conjunction with some good ski goggles. Sailing at 33mph in 8C in a howling gale and no wind was getting through at all, my head was warm and it felt very comfortable and unobtrusive.The design is good, it's a great fit, though for me the rear zip doesn't have a function, I have a wide head but it fits over easily enough without resorting to unzipping. The material has a decent amount of give yet hugs the head well.This will get a lot of use, and now forms an essential part of my blokarting kit. I rate this very highly indeed.

It's a decent balaclava although it could do with the neck being a bit longer and stitching is quite prominent so if your motorbike helmet fits as it should ( snug ) the stitching will start to dig in your head and it does become painful after aprox 30 min riding

Another product purchase and ticked off the shopping list for the adventure.Package Content:1x Balaclava1x dust proof filterI do a lot of walking around the country so I needed something to keep my neck area and forehead warm rather than me carry scarf and hat. Bought this waterproof balaclava for outdoor walk and also I am hoping to use for my Himalayan adventure.The balaclava is like wearing over your head. I covers your head, ears and neck area well keeping the eyes and nose exposed. There is a small filter provided which you can slide in the filter pocket in the nose section helping with the clean air. The balaclava comes with a zip allowing greater comfort. You can also layer up inside in the extreme cold weather providing as a thermal wear. With regards to size I would say it will fit an average and large size head but could potentially be a bit loose for a small size head. There is also a thin lining of reflective fabric for high visibility. Bought this for my daughter. She’s owned other ones but they rub against her mouth or are uncomfortable in some sort of way but she loves the way this one fits. She does school outdoors on Thursday afternoons, next year will do all day on fridays and this has kept her warm in our alberta winter so far!

Il prodotto è molto valido ma dopo aver fatto un giro con l'inserto per la mascherina ho deciso di buttarla perché fastidiosissima, trovo sia perfetto senza perché la parte davanti a bocca e naso è abbastanza "cicciotta" da tenere un minimo la forma così da non farmi l'effetto che detesto dell'avere premuto tra naso e bocca qualcosa, come fanno invece tutte le fasce collo tubolari.L'ho tolto al ritorno perché è uscito il sole e me ne sono pentito perché l'aria fredda che non avevo sentito tutta la mattina mi ha fatto veramente fastidio al ritorno.. reputo quindi che sia perfetto nell'isolamento dall'aria fredda dell'inverno. Non lo userei mai oltre all'inverno però perché è veramente caldo.Lo spessore non è esagerato, ovviamente un po' di spessore lo fa rispetto al sottocasco in seta che uso tutte le altre stagioni ma va benissimo..L'alternativa è o non andare in moto o soffrire il freddo
