Bought after getting nowhere with our GP. Had fairly regular stomach pains but no discernible pattern and no feedback from blood tests etc so thought we would try one of these to see what/if there was an intolerance or deficiency that was otherwise not being tested for. Process is very simple and results were emailed within the week. Report is pretty comprehensive grouping foodstuffs, vitamins and minerals etc. For us, nothing untoward was reported and so you could argue this was a waste of £20 but it's £20 for peace of mind I suppose.

Well I bought this about 4 weeks ago and was expecting results by now. Nothing.whilst it seems great value for money for the number of "tests" being conducted, having no results means it's poor value for money.The actual test is easy to do however it's debatable about the accuracy.

I ordered the test kit on a Monday, it was delivered on Tuesday, posted it back off on Wednesday, and had the results come through on the Friday. Overall, it was a really smooth experience in terms of doing the test and getting the results.My only negative in doing the actual test would be that in the test kit there is a form to fill in your details for receiving your results back, however, the areas to write your answers are very small, and sometimes wasn't enough space to write everything neatly (especially if you have a long email address) - so making a bigger version form with more space to write your details would make it a lot easier to fill in.As far as the test results go, this is where it gets really interesting and they provide lots of detail as to your intolerances, what can cause it and what food types etc.I do 100% believe that the results are real. I usually eat Porridge for breakfast at work around 3-4 times a week and find by lunchtime on these days, I'm very bloated, with my stomach making all sounds of groans and growls. My results showed that I had 4 major intolerances, one of which was "Oats inc Porridge". And now it makes so much sense why I would get bloated so much, being as I've been eating something that my body is intolerant to. I honestly never would have thought that Oats would be a trigger for me, with it being such a simple food type, in all honesty, I thought it was the milk and so had tried different milk types such as coconut milk and oat milk, but this didn't help either - so I am really glad to have found out it was the Oats all along.The price for the couple's kit is really well worth it and is a bargain compared to elsewhere.

I have a few food problems the worse was in June. I was in Spain ate something I usually eat at home. With in 20mins I was in agony I had the runs was sick. We got to the airport I was so poorly I collapsed twice. We got to the gate to board and was told to wait for medics. They told me I could not fly. This test had pinpointed what I thought it was. Thank you. Now I can do something about it.

I have a few allergies known to myself, but have had odd reactions to some food that I wanted investigated. I had to email and message multiple times to receive my results, which I finally got after 3 weeks. The results show things I am absolutely not allergic to as this has been cleared by food allergen specialists in hospital, and did not pick up any of my known allergens (Nuts, Gluten etc). So not only did I have to nag them for 3 weeks for my result, I then got results which are not accurate.

It was very detailed but things I know I'm allergic to didn't come up, so take it as a jumping off point maybe.

My daughter was having a lot of stomach pain after she ate nearly anything. We did pre and probiotics, elimination diets and could not pinpoint anything. This test helped me to clarify her key triggers.I loved the thorough results and it really opened up my eyes to my son's possible triggers. We are now in the process of eliminating all triggers and will begin to re-introduce items in another month, slowly. Results did take awhile to come in and for some reason went to my spam folder. I'm hoping to get my results soon(still waiting)!Things to know:1) If you have a high intolerance to a specific food, your body can trigger other intolerances that actually might not be a true intolerance.2) try eliminating everything on the list you receive that is 90 and above for 2 months.3). Slowly introduce items back into the diet that are 90-95 over the next month.4) then introduce slowly the 96-98 over the next month5) we did not re-introdice the 99-100 (well actually we did try Romain lettuce again (99) but she had stomach pains so we decided not to go further)We had a great experience with this test and we recommended as a great first stepping stone. She can now have everything on the list except Romain lettuce and chicken egg white (it's ok in baked goods though) and doesn't have stomach pain.

We sent in everything never recieved our results, Bolo refused to refund it and now I'm down $100. It's a scam

Amazing, quick, accurate - True customer
I read the reviews for this intolerance test and I was a little worried and skeptical because it only came with a little card for each person and then the bags didn't have anything to label it with and reviews were saying it takes so long, if ever to get results. It took a week for me. They sent all four of ours right to my e-mail address. And I TRULY believe the results for this reason:I knew that something was up with me and pineapples and this test found it.I also knew that my youngest son had to of been lactose intolerant because of his obvious side affects and sure enough he is intolerant to lactose, cows milk, milk, and other things found in milk products.Now I just received my results back today, so I am going to try to my family and I from being in contact with our intolerances and see if some of the symptoms we are experiencing goes away.Another thing I loved about it is it shows deficiencies. Gosh, made me feel like a terrible mom with everything that pops up for my children! I wish it were cheap and I can get a redo in a few months just to see if the vitamin deficiencies improve.Anyways, highly recommend! Very quick very informative! Thank you for the great product at such a reasonable price, much cheaper than the other brands on Bolo!
