    Think mine got overfilled, it lasts 17m30s and leaves a tiny bit in the top when it's finished but I wasn't looking for anything too accurate anyway, just something between 15-20 mins as I understand that these things are difficult to make perfectly accurate. It's soldily made and very pretty to look at.

    It is mostly decorative, a little extravagant but beautiful and I am delighted with this timer. I love the purple colour of the sand and turn it over each time I see it. It cheers up my day and makes me smile. It is very well made and would make a wonderful gift..

    I chose this one because it was one of the very few on offered that had option for 1H. Ordered 1H in green colour. When it arrived, on the outer box was written 1H. So far so good. Open the box and could immediately tell by the size of it that it couldn't be 1h. Timed it. 26 minutes... ???? Product itself is of good quality, heavy and looks good. But extremely disappointed with the "time". Not what was requested or needed. And it is not even a full half hour!!

    I hadn't realised that it completely made from decent quality glass and was very well wrapped up in really tough shrink wrap and a sturdy box. It doesn't matter if the sand takes less or more than 60 minutes to flow, it's just interesting to see it work.
