We bought this Dimplex Willowbrook electric fire and it is so realistic, it's great. The only down side at present is the optional (Dimplex) false flu pipe to make it even more the part, it does not fit flush with the top surface, the instructions are for other models that are flat topped, the Willowbrook has flu outlet that is slightly domed on the top, has anyone had the same problem ? have had no response from Dimplex !

We weren't able to have a proper fire in our kitchen/family room and in all honesty with underfloor heating, we don't really need it. But the room was missing some visual warmth and this fire delivers. The heating output is perfect if the weather suddenly turns cold overnight and you need a boost first thing in the morning.Minus points - the remote works only right next to the fire - useless at any further distance. It also gets through water pretty quickly. Have it on all day (as we have had over Christmas) and even on setting one, you'll be filling it up more than daily.Plus points - the flames have had a few people thrown, it really does look convincing. We added a dimplex chimney - unless you touched it, you wouldn't know. Not being hot has its advantages with a 3 year old - he's learnt with the sitting room fire but we don't have to worry about him being left unguarded.

Bought this fire to replace the previous Optimyst that we'd had for 10 years. This heater is even better - realistic flame effect and like the temperature control. Very quick delivery time and good packaging.

The media could not be loaded. Not wanting to use my gas fire for obvious reasons, but still wanting a lively cosy focal point, I am delighted to find this fits the bill. I have also always wanted a wood stove but a real one would be boiling in my room. So I have the central heating on & just the flames on the stove. Adding the flu bend just finishes it off. Even topping up the water last thing at night ready for next day makes you feel like you are attending to a real fire. Just delighted with this.

The fire arrived no remote have tried and tried to contact Dimplex it’s impossible to contact them I’m losing the will to live I’ve sent 5message and tried to call but you can’t get through to themFire ok not very well made

Loved it when it worked - really looked authentic . Error message appeared after 1 month and Dimplex (un)help line and guidance was totally useless. Bolo are sending out a replacement so hope that one works longer !

Petit radiateur imitation poêle assez bien, fait son effet. Cependant livré avec une prise UK! Aussi la bande collante avec les boutons de commande est de mauvaise qualité , arrivée à moitié décollée. Pour le prix on pourrait s’attendre à mieux. Les bûches font évidemment fausses, mais il fallait s’y attendre…
