5.0 out of 5 stars Warming and relaxing drink taken hot or cold.
These raspberry leaf teabags arrived quickly.I’ve used these before with a previous pregnancy due to recommendation from my mum so gave them a try. When made they are a lovely warm relaxing tea with a subtle raspberry and leafy taste. I have had many benefits from this tea. Firstly they have helped with my constipation which I suffered with badly in my first pregnancy until I started drinking this from 34 weeks. Yes 34 weeks and no earlier due to the effects of the tea on the uterine muscles. So as soon as I could drink this again in this pregnancy I did. I’ve also noticed I don’t feel as sickly and stomach discomfort has settled. One of the main benefits I’m taking it for is for preparation for birth and a faster, easier delivery which I’m now weeks away from. Taking these during my 1st previous pregnancy helped me significantly. I believe it is what escalated my labour really fast. Within 45 minutes I went from being 3cm dilated to delivering my baby and with ease, the midwife was shocked. My uterus went back to size quicker than expected too. My mother had taken this tea when having me and she experienced exactly the same and had the same benefits so I strongly believe it’s down to this tea.
5.0 out of 5 stars Love the product
This actually tastes quite nice and as for helping labour (different for every one) but I’d say it helps it for sure I was due on the 30/08 and I started drinking this on the 18/08 went in to labour that night! Was in labour with contractions for a couple days (till 20/08)but ince my waters broke it was an easy 45 mins of pushing and he was out but I’d highly recommend this tea even if it doesn’t help your labour start it’s still a nice tea to sit down and relax with for sure!!
4.0 out of 5 stars A good purchase for mums to be!
This is the nicest raspberry leaf tea I’ve tried with the peppermint taking the unpleasantness away from the raspberry leaf. It was effective in softening my cervix before my induction to make the process a bit easier. A bit on the pricey side but evens itself out if you use the teabags more than once as suggested on the box. The teabags are a good quality material so would be fine to use a couple of times. I don’t like weak tea so I didn’t do this!
3.0 out of 5 stars 14 bags but 2 broken
Well it tastes good the first time but it's not 28 bags it's 14 and using them again tastes a bit rubbish. The weight of leaf in the ones you get is tiny in comparison to others. 2 bags were broken by the sticky label attached to the bag so that's 12 tea bags for £6...🤦♀️
5.0 out of 5 stars Lovely tea!
Really nice tasting with the peppermint. I’m only allowed 3 cups a day as I’m 38 weeks pregnant. I wish I could drink it all day it’s so tasty! Yum! Highly recommend 🤩
5.0 out of 5 stars Tasty and seemed to work
Wasn’t expecting to like the taste quite so much! They must’ve worked as baby was born within 6 minutes of starting to push!
5.0 out of 5 stars First baby
I started drinking this tea at 34 weeks. I gave birth on my due date 03.03.24. I started having contractions 3 days before but once I was in active labor delivery was under 3 hours on gas and air and only needed 1 push. Midwives were really shocked, so were we. Might have been due to exercises I have been doing too.Flavour was much nicer than other brands I tried, only negative is the bags did rip a few times when detaching the string and second cup does not taste as nice or strong.
Amazing
Loved it
I went into labour
I began drinking this tea when I was given my induction date. I went into labour 10 days beforehand! Is it down to the tea? Who knows!
Peppermint and raspberry tea
I agree with the comments that it's false advertising to promote it as 28 cups but only provide 14 teabags. I definitely wouldn't reuse the teabag as there's no flavour in the second cup. They need to be more transparent. Also didn't realise it's only 40% raspberry leaf which is the whole reason why I purchased the tea. Not sure what benefit peppermint has to labour and why it's promoted as beneficial? The tea tastes fine in saying that.
Only 40% Raspberry Leaf
Please note this is a raspberry with peppermint BLEND - but raspberry leaf only makes up 40% of the mix. Peppermint tea is very cheap so you are better of finding a pure raspberry leaf and buying peppermint separately to adjust to taste
Damaged box...
The item arrived quick (Australian buyer) but the box is damaged. For the price that I paid, that's how it looks like on arrival, I hope this product works..
