Genius product! Couldn’t be happier!
I am a work at home mom, and my business is mostly run from my iPhone or online, for classes and such. It was always such a pain to have to find a light source, something to hold my phone, get the right angle, and heaven forbid I need to make an adjustment during a video! This product solves all that. The light has different options for warm, cool, bright light, and you can adjust the brightness of the light too! It clips on to almost any surface and has a nice long usb cord to plug into the wall or laptop. I plugged the usb into a double USB plug, so my phone can charge while doing FB lives and classes. I have also used the light part a a desk lamp, so I feel like it’s more than worth it for the cost. I’ve already recommended this product to both my upline and downline friends, and other friends who run businesses out of their homes. Genius product, I’m thrilled.
Perfect lighting for this new world of constant Zoom calls!
After months of working at my dining room table, I finally decided to use my actual home office since my company has mandated WFH until the end of the year. My home office is rather dark, though, so it needed some love. I got it lit well enough for my use but it wasn't so great for all those Zoom calls I have every day. So I decided to try a 'selfie' light' to see if that might help. I LOVE this thing. It's flattering and it makes all my calls look so much more professional. You really can't go wrong with this thing. It has several settings - from warm to cool tones plus a dimmer switch you can adjust to your liking. It clips right onto your desk and has a convenient snakelike 'arm' so you can maneuver this thing to the right angle for your needs. Highly recommend. I am so glad I have this thing because it makes me look good and makes me feel more confident during those important meetings. And no one but you has to know you are using it either!
Nearly Perfect
I really love this light/phone holder. It is great for adding to the top of my computer for Zoom calls, etc. The phone holder is strong but not so strong that you can't get your phone in and out of with without straining something. The brightness choices are very nice and I love that it has a lifetime warranty. Things I wish it had: A better way to attach it to things. It has slipped a couple of times attached to my desk and it would be great if it could stand alone without having to be clamped to something, it would give it more options. Also, I wish it came with some attachable "filters" so you could control the color better. You get either blue tone, green tone or a somewhat warm tone, but it could use a better warm tone and an attachable "filter" would give you a few more options. Otherwise, it's great and I would highly recommend it.
Great Light For Videos and Pictures!
I bought this light to use to make low budget videos for YouTube. I don't use my cell phone but a webcam instead. The light works really well and has multiple light color settings along with varying brightnesses for each color setting. Probably at least 30 different options. The clamp is huge and robust and I was surprised that it clamps onto my 3" thick end table (added bonus). I did stick my cell phone (Samsung 7) into the holder which seems capable of holding an even bigger phone if necessary and I was happy with its quality. The light is on a 2' metal flexible pole and is easily moved to where you want it. Very sturdy and really feels like it is of high quality. I highly recommend.
The lighting is good, the stability is not.
Pros: Great lighting options. Easy to control the lights, easy to position the light. The clamp is strong and works well on wide and thin surfaces.Cons: The arms offer little stability. The camera arm won’t hold a phone stretched out horizontally, so if you want to film overhead shots (like a document camera), this is not your holder. Also, the arm is not good for stability in holding the camera still. Even tiny movements on my desk, like laying down or picking up papers makes the camera shake. If you have something rock solid to clamp this to, or don’t mind shaky video, it might be okay. I’m back in the market for something with more stability in the holder itself.
