Standard, excellent Bic pens!There is a small cover on the nib which has to be removed before use. Easy to do and no trouble. But I’ve never seen that before.Note the nib is quite thick: certainly bigger than the “normal” ones with clear plastic you commonly get

These have a slightly wider ballpoint at 1.6mm which makes it a lot easier and quicker to write with. I cannot but this size ball poijt easily, so I set up a subscription. Great value, would reccommend

they are great to write with much better than the std tip size pen but thats where the advantages end the 'nib' leaks each time you start to write you find the ball has not sealed correctly after the last use and a small amount of ink has collected around the ball and will cause a blotch as you start writing, however you know this so provided you don't mind cleaning the nib/ball before you start you should be OK, if you are writing for a while this cleaning operation will need to be repeated, I have as yet not used one as my carry along pen so I don't know if it leaks onto your shirt, hopefully not. They do write much nicer than std so hence 4 stars

BIC pens, with bolder point, thicker lines.Still a little skippy but they are not gel pens, so expected.They say BIC have not improved their designs for decades because you cannot improve on perfection.I do miss the old caps without the holes though. That was a step down from perfection.
