    I needed to buy a 240-110 transformer and a plug converter to get this to work, in hindsight I would've gotten another model with more general connectivity if I could do over again.

    If you do want to optimize your dental hygiene this is an excellent choice.

    I've only had it a day and used it twice but so far it's far better than I'd expected. I've never owned a power flosser of any kind and only used string floss. This is so much easier and much nicer. It's works very well, has more power than I need or expected. The power dial is variable so you can adjust it to a milder or more powerful spray. The entire unit is not large and is physically smaller than I'd pictured it. But the reservoir holds adequate water for a single use and can easily be refilled if you want to spend more time flossing. I don't really like the whitening 'tablets' as they are artificially flavored and also contain things like glucose. I prefer a water rinse following use of them, then a brushing. But time will tell if they do whiten my teeth. As it is, using this unit as well as an electric tooth brush, my teeth certainly are much cleaner and brighter than prior. If you do want to optimize your dental hygiene this is an excellent choice.

    I had tried a different brand that did nothing. So I got this waterpik. It works great! It actually flossed my teeth. I have not used the whitener tablets, not sure that I will. I don't really know what the tablets are made of. Yes I read the ingredients and I still don't know. But this flosser works great for what I need. I started out on setting 1 and it might be the only setting I will need. Maybe setting 2. I am very happy with this flosser. I have only had it a day and I have only used it once.

    My dentist advised me to get a water flosser. I looked at a variety of units and there were two things that attracted me to this unit: the variable pressure and the whitening tablets. I've used it every night before going to bed for two weeks. I start the pressure off at low and ramp it up to somewhere between 6-10, depending on whether I'm cleaning near my gums or higher on my teeth. It does a thorough job of flossing and cleaning. I used it for the first week without the whitening tabs. The unit did remove some of the stains, but when I started using the whitening tabs it really made a huge difference. I've tried whitening strips and other products and this hands down has done the best job at whitening my teeth after only a week.When you crank the power up it does get noisy. It can also get messy if you aren't careful - water can rebound off your teeth and shoot in all kinds of directions. The directions say to use warm water. We are on well water so I prefer to use bottled water that is at room temperature. It feels cold for the first few seconds.I'm very happy with this Waterpik and would recommend it.
