Higher Quality
So far this eye shadow seems to be of higher quality than the ones I've used recently; NYX, Revlon, Loreal. I'm aging and once oily eyes are now dry so I have to put a primer on first. So over the primer, the shadow goes on smootly. It does not drop fine particles all over my face like many other powders. I first apply with a brush and then mostly even out with my fingers. It doesn't have sparkle but it isn't flat either. It's just right. So far, I like it.

I love this eye makeup. It goes on soft and buttery smooth. You can use the lighter colors on your lids and the dark color on your brows. You can even use the dark color as eye liner if you barely wet a teeny brush and apply it. However, this product came all beat up! It was not wrapped. It was just stick in a box. It was like powder. I could have returned it, but I kept it because I was completely out and really needed it. I made it work for about a month. Then I gave up and got a new one from the smashbox website.

Smash box trio eyeshadow
This is probably 3rd or 4th time to buy this. I mix the lighter color and medium color and put under my brows, darker color in the crease and next to my eyelashes. If I want a more dramatic look, get the brush damp and use as eyeliner.
Crumbles Easily - Not Usable
Very unhappy with This expensive product. The first time I bought this eyeshadow trio I loved it but it crumbled in the case after a short time. I thought it might be a fluke so I purchased it again recently and the same thing happened after only a month of use. They want me to go through Bolo for a refund but - although I bought it in February of 2024 I did not start using it till March 2024 so return window is closed. Paid $22 for an eyeshadow that only lasted a couple of weeks before it broke apart. Don't buy!
