These are the first real brush markers I've tried and I absolutely love them! The variation of line width achievable is great!While mixing colours can be a little tricky, using them as a toned sketch and overlaying water has such a satisfying effect!I'd be interested to see what a more pastel colours palette could achieve as these colours are very bold. Would recommend them to anyone wanting to try a watercolor marker though :)

Ok so being an artist I’m always looking out for money off offers. With these brush pens (which can also be used as watercolour) there was 70% off so I thought I’d try them out.I’d seen a few of the other reviews, one of which said they were just like felt tips...can’t say I agree with that. They’re only felt tips if you block colour with them. By using a wet brush (or water brush) you can achieve a water colour effect . Saw mother review stating that they seep through the paper, can’t say that happened to me. I used watercolour paper but I’d expect if you used the incorrect paper for watercolour then yeah the colours would seep through.Through a bit of experimentation I found the best watercolour look came if the paper was wet first before putting pen to paper - on thick paper which isn’t watercolour paper. On watercolour paper these work a treat. 2nd photo example is on watercolour paper, the first on toothed Bristol board.I got these pens today - never used them or anything else like them. But I have to say it was fun playing around with them. My next piece will be a little better as I did this in under an hour!I dropped a star only due to the fact that my delivery was a day late.Updated next day - did a little sketch which turned out rather nice (2nd photo)

I use these painting pens alongside my watercolour pans. Can achieve some creative effects with them. A great variety of tones can be achieved.

Xmas present for 6 year old who loved the brush pens . Great results, less mess than usual . Adults would love the pens . Highly recommended.

Wrapped in plastic, inside a plastic box inside a molded plastic pen tray. They are good pens but two of mine were very dry and didn't work properly. I would not buy these again which I am quite disappointed by as Arteza is usually a reliable brand.

Lovely colours and pens almost wish I had bought bigger set. May still do. Shame though that ‘sets’ overlap and you get repeat colours unless you buy the complete set to begin with which some of us may not be able to afford!

These are really nice. Takes a bit of practice to know how to work them but the effects are lovely. You have to colour first, then add water, they dont work too great if you add the water first then try to add the colour. There's a good choice of bright colours and they're fun to work with. They will not blend with water on ordinary paper. You have to use either watercolor paper or multimedia paper. Also, less is more with these pens.

Best Real Brush Pens
I absolutely love these Arteza Real Brush Pens. They come in beautiful vibrant colors and are very easy to use. The tips and very well defined, and work just like a real brush. The ink does not dry up and is very long lasting. The set also comes with an extra brush to mix and merge the different colors and works very well. They are very convenient to use, and produce beautiful paintings, without any mess caused due to wet paints. They work very well on art paper, and can easily be blended using water to produce different shades and effects. I use them for all my paintings. Very good value for money. I am very pleased with this purchase, and definitely recommend purchasing these.

I pennarelli sono davvero ottimi, anche se ci vuole un po' prima di avere un po' di manualità. Comunque anche per noi, che eravamo principianti, dopo un po' sono risultati facili e comodi da usare. I colori sono molto belli e brillanti e contiene anche un pennarello vuoto da riepire con acqua per fare le sfumature. Le punte sono ben fatte e resistenti. Consigliati
Muy bonitos los colores
Rotuladores muy buenos para principiantes y no tan peincipiantes. Los colores muy bonitos y el lila precisamente tenia un color pastel muy bonito, y el rosa era d un tono neón muy bonito
Super fun to use
This is actually the first Arteza product I’ve ever owned and what an introduction to the brand!! The way these brushes apply colour is so satisfying and rich it’s hard to put them down. I hope to see the Arteza website expand to Australian customers, as I wanted to use the discount code off the packet but it’s limited to US & UK only.
