You have to pay attention to the instructions, I put the legs on wrong way round at first. Once assembled it is most useful. Used for holding wood whilst jigsawing and cleaning the edges of tiles I wanted to reuse and number of other jobs requiring more than 2 hands. Ok for DIY is light and manoeuvre able. Good value at £20.

My husband bought this as a replacement for his Workmate. It’s not as sturdy as a Workmate but he’s very pleased with it. Definitely need two people to assemble it and the pix on the instructions are a bit misleading - beware.

Like very light and folds up very neatly.I bought two because I was making long bench workTops of which I had to smooth down.They worked superbly just remember to set legs at full stretch otherwise due to flexibility of thin stretchers they are not very stable. Otherwise no problems whatsoever “does exactly what it says on tin”.For the price they are excellent pieces of kit as long you set them correctly as mentioned.Would certainly buy again if needed.

I used the product to cut skirting boards but the MDF clamps on the bench kept overlapping when I tried to tighten them plus the tightening handles bent/crushed the metal box section when pressure was applied - the metal sections are a very thin grade. I had to work very cautiously as i was unable to fully tighten the clamps onto the skirting. I persevered with the bench as I had no other time i could do the job. I am very unhappy with this product.

Happy with work bench for the price. Wasn't too difficult to put together although as usual the instructions weren't particularly useful. Was sent 1 short of the smaller bolt and 1 extra of the longer ones - luckily with it being that way round was able to complete construction but do check all components as would be very annoying to partially construct and then find out you were a long bolt short! Its reasonably sturdy, folds up easily to put away. If you have big heavy jobs to do - buy something more substantial- with a more substantial price!

I'm quite impressed with this bench. I must admit that for the low price I thought that it might not be much cop, but after reading the reviews for this one and the little more expensive Draper and Black & Decker ones etc. I thought I'd take a punt on it, especially as it's only £14 odd with free shipping, and I'm glad I did. It is lightweight and wouldn't take any really serious weight, but it's very sturdy and well made. The instructions are okay and easy to follow, although I had to look at the photo of the bench made up (on Bolo) to figure out which way the legs went! You will need a screwdriver and spanner to build it, as there are screws and bolts. This was just what I needed as an extra work surface for light crafting work and so I am very pleased with it as it's substantial enough and sturdy. Maybe not for the serious DIY-er who will be using heavy planks of wood, but a good bench for the money. Delivery was quick too.
