Been using Patella straps for a few years now. Problem with right knee started approximately 12 years ago. Was using sleeve type supports at first. Worked ok. Got uncomfortable after couple of hours. And hot ! Found straps work well. And I don’t overheat. Should add, Im now 72 years old. Walk / play golf 5 days a week. ( and winter in Thailand most years. 100 degrees currently 🥵)Use a couple of makes of strap. Finding this one suits me best 😛

I bought these for hiking, as I get a lot of pain in my knee after a long hike once we start going downhill (never an issue once I hit flat ground again, just the downhill bits!).I've obviously added exercises to help, but adding this to my arsenal made such a huge difference! The pain has reduced by about 95%.I tested this going up and then down Black Combe in Silecroft, Cumbria (620 meters total ascent / 2037 ft). Worn from start to finish; about 5 miles to the top from our start point, 4 miles down, and a further 2 miles on flat.Felt great the whole time, keeping pain at bay and very comfortable. I put it on before I left home, for the drive there, and didn't take it off until I finished the walk. So, about 9 hours, and it didn't bother me at all.

I have been using sleeves so far and they are annoying to put on and off and leave feet sweaty. However this gives me the support I need and don't need to take them off so quickly. Velcro and quality are strong. Very light and works well.

I need 2 knee replacement joints and both my patella's dislocate regularly but since taking a chance with these they actually work for me. I'm 6ft 8 and 20 stone so there's a fair bit of weight going through my knees but what these do is tighten the lateral ligaments on the kneecap and keep the patella stabilisedThis isn't a new thing but it's very comfortable compared to using thick sticky tape that pulls on your skin and pulls your hairs out and you end up sore. They are very comfortable to use and all you need to do is slide your foot through put it in position so the strap at the rear is right at the top of the calf muscle and pull the velcro straps tight. You will know straight away if its too tight as it will nip the skin either side of the knee but this takes a lot of pull to do that. I would say pull the tension both sides until the neoprene just starts to stretch then fasten the velcro. Honestly it's the next best thing to buying a £300 full brace and it's more comfy and since I've started using them around a week ago after advice from my knee surgeon my knee caps have not moved out of joint and it makes walking much easier and I can now walk longer. Yes you still get your knee pain but you don't get the horrible pain when your patella moves 2 inches and you end up flat on your backside. For the price there's nothing else comes close apart from using a elasticated bandage that's so tight that it cuts your circulation off to your foot. These are absolutely brilliant and I would recommend to anyone who suffers with lose kneecaps lose ligaments and for people who need a knee replacement especially if you need to walk. Ive been using mine all day and night so if I need to use the toilet during the night I know I won't dislocate my knee cap and it's fine to sleep in.
Just what I expected
I have knee issues and I have worn this type of support for years when I exercise. It isn’t a miracle cure but my knees will be sore if I forget to wear them so I feel it’s helpful. I find the design of this support is better than the brand I’d previously used. My others would come unfastened and I’d lose them when I was walking, etc. and that is highly unlikely to happen with these.

Wear them proactively.
These seem to have extra padding in front which has a better feel than my previous set of bands. I wear them whenever I run (every other day) and I believe that is keeping my knees from hurting as they used to before I wore bands. Quick delivery and competitive cost.
Excellent produit
Grâce à ce produit je peux marcher sans douleur.J'ai le ménisque interne sa partie postérieur complètement arraché qu'à donné à une diminution du cartilage et un pincement.Il y a eu un moment, je suppose le jour que le ménisque a été arraché, je ne pouvais plus marcher.Tout ça est la conséquence d'un accident de sli hors piste il y a 20 ans. J'étais opéré des LVA et du ménisque interne.Les LCA sont comme neuf mais le ménisque a lâché il y a 2 mois.A commencé avec une petite douleur et chaque fois plus,j'avais le feeling d'avoir un genou en béton,rigide jusqu'à que je n'ai pouvais plus marcher. J'ai dû beaucoup voyager et je suppose que n'a pas tenu le coup et moi je n'ai pas fait intention. Je suis allé ici en FR au médecin qui n'a rien fait du tout.Donc je suis allé chez moi m'ont fait un IRM et j'ai la total.Bien sûr je vais être opérée mais en attendant je dois continuer à pouvoir travailler et marcher.J'ai essayé des attelles de tout type pour les ménisques, mais le seul qui empêche que les os se touchent et cette bande. Elle remplace le ménisque et je n'ai pas la sensation et douleur que les os se touchent.Je suis vraiment contente.
