Got this because moved into a shared flat as base for my chinchilla cage since the new flooring is wood which made a lot of noise when they were jumping around the cage. After putting it under cage it basically stopped all noise that it was generating by the cage bottom banging against floor.My only issue is that it took roughly about 2 months for the smell of rubber to go away, even after I had it outside for first week of when it arrived.
