I have been using L'Oreal Studio Secrets Perfecting Base Primer for some time but thought I would give this a try. I like the fact that it's in a compact rather than a small jar or tube. It's probably ideal for someone with younger skin but for those of us that are a little older I don;t think it 'primes' the skin that well. It's more like a light moisturiser. I will continue to use it but probably revert back to my usual primer when it's gone!

Been seeing so many good reviews about this primer but sadly it doesn’t work for me.To be fair, not many primers do - I guess they’re not for everyone as everyone’s skin is different.It didn’t really have any effect on my pores.It feels nice and makes your skin very soft but sadly that’s all it did for me.It’s a shame as I had high expectations based on all on its fab reviews.

Really into my e.l.f products at the moment. My t zone is very oily and I am trying a few products at the moment to try and control it. This being one of them.It smoothes on my skin so well and has a lovely even ing effect. It mattifies well.I still do get a somewhat shiny face but it's not as bad.Thanks e.l.f 😊
Sorcery in a tub - this stuff is amazing!
Whatever magic E.L.F. Used to create this stuff is amazing - it’s super light and smooths over your skin beautifully. When you add a BB cream, foundation or even go bare-faced, it looks like a Snapchat filter on your skin. It somehow smooths and evens the texture and balances the shades of facial skin, reduces the appearance of wrinkles, especially at the eyes and around the mouth, and the look lasts all day. My go-to routine is a quick one: vitamin c serum, Olay retinol moisturizer, E.L.F. putty (allow all to dry for about a minute), Olay 7-in1 BB cream (amazing stuff!), Cover girl lip stain in Admire, L’Oreal Telescopic mascara, E.L.F. blush, and a swipe of lip gloss. Makeup lasts all day with the exception of a touch up of gloss. I’m sold and so glad I heard about and tried this product!
My favourite primer (sensitive, dry and acne-prone)
I have tried many different primers but always come back to this one. It doesn't irritate my sensitive skin or cause any acne breakouts. I have very dry skin and it goes on silky and smooth without drying me out. It looks really good on my skin before I even put makeup on. Doesn't seem like much comes in the container but a little pinch goes a long way so it does last a while
Easy to use, good coverage
A good sheer untinted primer that is easy yo apply with fingertips, brush or sponge. Easy to go light or heavy and it’s a semi-solid clean product with no clogged tubes. Its signature Elf so you know the quality is there.

Love this primer.
I use it daily so anything I need to cover is completely hidden. I like how tacky it is and how makeup will stick to it and hold onto it for hours.
