Just after birth I found the experience of engorgement really painful. This is good for relieving that and an easier alternative to a hand pump. I could get about 50ml in 10-15 mins which is a serving for my newborn. Easy to use and easy to clean.

I had one of these with my first baby and purchased another for my most recent baby. It is so easy to use and clean. Perfect for catching extra milk while baby feeds. Great quality and great price. An absolute essential for breastfeeding mums!

I’m exclusively breastfeeding and I’m a first time Mum so I wasn’t sure whether to get an electric pump or not because I was leaking so much and also for future purposes if I’m away from bubs. But I’m so glad I got the hakaa it’s really easy to use, the suction is quite hard on my sensitive boobs buts it’s doable and within the first couple of minutes I had 10mls. Love it!

Written from the outside perspective as i bought this for my wife!Well, i didn't know my wife had cow blood in her veins because bloody hell! one little squeeze and after a few minutes there was enough for a bowl of corn flakes! our little sausage is getting nice and fat and this is why!supposedly, it's just a squeeze and leave and it does all the work! supposedly pretty comfy!

I love, love, LOVE this. I have a Medela as well, but I use this more. It's comfortable and low maintenance. My only issue is the angle I have to have it at. I use it when feeding off one breast, on the other. I do need to be more organised as I usually just pop baby on and then think (as I feel the let down).."damn, I forgot the haakka" so having it close to where I usually nurse would probably be better for me, rather than shouting to my husband / 5 year old to grab it!So the angle I have to have it at isn't where it points straight down / is totally vertical. This has 2 implications:1. I can't fill it to capacity as the milk starts sloshing back up the funnel2. Sometimes the suction goes and the milk at the top of the funnel hasn't drained down and then spills down me...working on this but still feel I don't have enough hands to keep reattaching fussy baby one side and holding this the other.I have also used it for gentle expressing when I've been engorged as I suffer from over supply and blocked ducts. This has been super helpful as I can get a gentle rythmn going and then once I've taken a bit off, I can just leave it and the natural suction pulls the rest off.I am not convinced it only "collects the let down which would otherwise be lost" though, as it has suction to it, so it draws the milk after the initial let down. Nevertheless, it's handy and was easier to take to my parents than the Medela!

Definitly not for those with sensitive nipples! I found that this made my nipples grey/ purple after using. Suction is very strong and size of the neck means it pulls the whole areola in.

This is exactly what I needed to avoid wasting leaking breast milk. The suction is really good so stays on securely. I wish I had bought this sooner!

Wenn ich mal keine Lust habe die Milchpumpe auszupacken ist der haakaa immer schnell griffbereit und unbequem zu handhaben. Sehr zufrieden mit dem unkomplizierten Produkt 👍🏻
Blaue Brüste
Erfüllt bei mir leider überhaupt nicht den angedachten Zweck neben dem Stillen an einer Brust an der anderen die auslaufende Milch aufzufangen. Hierzu muss mit dem Haka ein leichter Unterdruck erzeugt werden, um ihn von selbst an der Brust zu fixieren. Leider wird meine Brust direkt blau und das Tragen ist sehr unangenehmen. Ebenso empfinde ich es als sehr teuer. Da er nur zwei Sterne.
