5.0 out of 5 stars Effective. Versatile. Ideal firmness/softness.
The foam is firm enough not to squash down excessively with feet on it, but soft enough to provide comfortable and effective cushioning. The width is good, although it would be even better if it was a few centimetres wider. The depth of the base should be sufficient to accommodate up to size 12 feet without toes overhanging. The velcro attachable/removable base provides usable options for height adjustment. I have found both height options useful in different positions and/or chairs. It is easy to attach and remove, and is secure when attached. The mesh material of the covers is good quality, and feels durable. It doesn't attract 'bits' and is easy to keep clean. The covers have good quality, smooth, free-running zips, and are easy to remove and put back on.The grips on the base work well to stop the foot rest sliding around. When used as a rocker, the mesh material itself provides sufficient grip on carpet. As a rocker, it works very well, and has actually helped to alleviate plantar fasciitis. It also works great as a knee rest.Overall, very pleased, even though I thought it was a little expensive at the £35.67 I paid. I would not have paid the full RRP (currently £47.67), and would only recommend it when on sale.
5.0 out of 5 stars Eminently comfortable
I'll be honest, I didn't spend a huge amount of time researching this footrest before I bought it. I've been revamping my PC space since December, with a new desk, new chair, newly-built PC, a new monitor, new keyboard and mouse... and after spending an eye-watering amount of money on all of that, why agonise over a thing to put your feet on? I just wanted my feet to stop dangling! I could've used a box!So it was pot luck that I ended up with the ErgoFoam adjustable foot rest, really. I just picked the first one that vaguely looked like it would do the job, and ordered it.And I lucked out!The ErgoFoam immediately surprised me with its quality. While you're holding it in your hands, the cushioning feels firm - you have to put a considerable degree of effort into appreciably squashing it. When it's under your feet, though, it's like resting them on a cloud. You simply don't notice that it's there. It squashes beneath your weight just enough so as to feel comfortable, while retaining enough rigidity to support you properly. It's a balancing act that I don't fully understand how they've pulled off.The outer cover is a plush, soft velvety fabric, which feels amazing, socks on or off. It's the kind of fabric that you could rub your face on. It's a bit of a dust magnet - after only a few hours it was 'spotty' - but it's easy to brush off, easier to vacuum off, and the cover can be unzipped if necessary.I have the adjustable version. It comes with the standard curved footrest (which doubles as a rocker if you flip it upside down), and has a rectangular extra piece that can be velcro'd on to the bottom of the main piece to raise its height. It works really well. When I'm doing a bit of gaming, I attach the 'riser' and stretch my legs out. When I'm typing up a report, I take it off again and support my feet more squarely. It's supremely comfortable in both configurations. The bottom of both pieces has a rubberised, textured 'grip', so it should work just as well on hardwood as it does carpet. All in all, I'm pleasantly surprised by the thing. I bought it just as something to put my feet on (well... obviously), but now I can't imagine being at a computer without one.

5.0 out of 5 stars Really comfortable
It’s fairly large but very comfortable. I’d been using a plastic footrest which fell to pieces. After reading the reviews I decided to try this one. I have it pushed against a wall under a small desk and use the flat surface so my feet are resting at an angle. Works really well for me. I use a damp cloth to wipe it over. Very impressed. Would highly recommend
5.0 out of 5 stars Increased seating comfort Immediately
Very useful addition for one who spends hours each day at the desk.
3.0 out of 5 stars Nice feeling, good height
Good height, love that you can use it two ways. However after resting feet for while it dips and sinks in. Could be a bit better quality memory foam
5.0 out of 5 stars Comfy and Soft!
Super Comfy and Super Soft! The Foot rest has two different heights and is very comfortable for me at my desk. I would wholeheartedly reccomend this product for anybody wanting a footrest the quality is just absolutely excellent!
Nice a comfy and appreciate the stickiness to the ground and adjustable hight
Really enjoy it. I also stand on the pillows when my desk is in standing mode to reduce foot pain. So far the pillows have not deformed at all from standing on them either!

Helps me keep my feet and legs comfortable
I recently started working from home so I am at my desk for much longer periods of time now. At my last job, I would have to get things from the office printer, attend meetings, do filing and just generally be up and moving more. With my new job, I noticed that my feet were uncomfortable just on the ground, and my legs would be a bit stiff from sitting all day, so I thought I better do something about it. So, I started digging around. I ran across some other reviews of the ErgoFoam Foot Rest and decided to try it. I have been using it for a while now and thought it was time to give my opinion on it.PROS:1. The exterior cover is very, very soft, and cleans easily with a hand vac, if needed. Sometimes, my cat will sit by my feet, and I have been able to get her fur off easily. It is not a high nap on the fabric, so cleaning has been a breeze. I have not spilled anything on it, so I cannot say how it will respond to a spot cleaning.2. The memory foam is firm but not hard. It has maintained its shape very well. It is comfortable on my feet, and sometimes, I will cross my feet and rest my ankles on it because it feels good.3. It rocks back and forth. This was my main purpose in purchasing this item. Since I need to move my legs more, I just flip the cushion so that the rounded side is to the floor, and rock my feet from front to back. That works wonderfully. The flat base of each cushion is covered in a different kind of material that has little nubs or beads on it. They felt a bit weird the first few times I used it, but I am completely adjusted to it now. It lets me grip the cushion a bit when rocking my feet from front to back. If I spend some time every hour that I am at my desk rocking my feet by using my leg muscles to circulate my blood, my legs definitely feel better at the end of the day. That, in and of itself, made this a good purchase for me.4. It is adjustable. This part was a really big deal for me. Based on the height of my desk at home, it is really helpful that I can take off one section so it is not so tall. It fits better under my current desk, but if I get a taller desk, or if I even feel like having a greater range of rocking, I can just zip the second layer back on.5. The quality of the material used and the construction itself seem good. I have not experienced any wear or breakdown after several months of use. The seams are sewn well and are not pulling apart or loose. The zippers glide easily.CONS:1. I am a tight-wad, so paying 40 bucks for something just to put my feet on was hard to do. Luckily, there was a coupon available on my purchase, so that made it easier.2. The two sections are held together by 4 pieces of velcro and a zipper on one side. There is probably a completely valid reason for doing it this way, but I would have preferred to have one zipper that goes all the way around and just omit the velcro. I would not, however, let this stop me from purchasing this item. Just a personal preference.3. This one is kind of silly, but it would be good if there were more color options. For example, a neutral color such as tan or taupe, might be good. If someone has a completely white office, they might like a white one. My home office is a hodge-podge of items so style does not matter, and luckily, black is my favorite color. If and when something happens to it, and if I have not retired by then, I can definitely see myself purchasing another one. I have never used one from another manufacturer, so I cannot say if they are all the same, but I can say that I really like this product and would recommend it and would repurchase it.
