i’ve now had the Nortiv 8 Men's Waterproof Hiking Boots for a full month, and I can confidently say they have exceeded my expectations. Over the past 30 days, I’ve tested them both indoors and outdoors in a variety of conditions, including sub-zero temperatures (around -5°C), rain, sun, and cold weather, and they’ve handled everything exceptionally well.ComfortFirst off, these boots are incredibly comfortable right out of the box. I had no issues with break-in time, which is a huge plus. The cushioning inside is just the right balance—not too soft, but still supportive enough for long hours of walking. I wore them for several long indoor walks and outdoor treks with no discomfort or irritation. The mid-cut design provides just enough ankle support, while still allowing for good mobility.WarmthOne of the main reasons I chose these boots was for their ability to keep my feet warm in colder weather. And they definitely deliver. Even in temperatures as low as -5°C, my feet stayed comfortably warm and dry. The waterproof lining ensures that snow and slush don’t seep in, which is crucial during cold weather hikes. The insulation isn’t too heavy, though, so I imagine these will be fine for moderate temperatures as well. They strike a great balance between warmth and breathability.Weather ResistanceThe waterproofing has been stellar. I wore them through rainy days, trudging through puddles and wet grass, and my feet stayed dry the entire time. The boots performed just as well in the snow, where the tread gave me excellent grip and traction. The boots have a rugged, slip-resistant outsole that works well on slick surfaces, offering great confidence even when navigating wet or icy patches.DurabilityAfter a month of regular use in a variety of environments, they show minimal signs of wear. The upper material still looks great—no fraying or tears—and the rubber sole has maintained its structure, showing no signs of softening or losing traction. The stitching is solid, and I haven’t experienced any issues with the waterproof membrane.VersatilityI’ve used these boots for hiking, walking, and even casual outings. They’re versatile enough to handle trails, city streets, and even some light climbing. I bought these boots back at the start of the year, and after using them throughout the year in various different conditions and places I can honestly say that they’re the best walking boots I’ve ever owned. Upon buying them they didn’t really take any breaking in, and have never blistered my feet as other walking boots have. They’re really comfortable and sturdy and have kept my feet warm and dry every time I’ve been out in them. I’d totally recommend them to anyone as a top class boot, not just a budget one!

I was dubious about getting these but decided to try as a good price. I have a wide foot, most size 10's squeeze or pinch. Not these, realy great fit, comfortable and light. Not very waterproof though. Got caught out on the Brecon Beacons in very heavy rain. Boots were soaked in minutes, however coupled with 1000 miles socks they remained comfortable with great grip which proved usefull on Jacobs ladder which was extremelywet. Probably best to use on dry days. As you can see from the photos they took quite a battering. Even if they only last a year I would buy them again.

I actually really enjoy these boots second pair I bought, and I am going to get another pair for when they're needed in future. Incredibly stable for ankle/leg, very good in cold and wet weather. I go half a size up to have room for extra thick socks . Hard wearing aswel so last a long time even for a wonky walker.

I actually chose these boots due to one of their small number of negative reviews which mentioned they were too warm. They are indeed rather warm however for the more sedentary outdoor activities such as fishing this is perfect. I’ve also walked a few miles in them and they’ve proven to be comfortable and watertight. Considering they are half the price of some of the more well known brands and , in my experience, better performing, I’d say they make a good choice.

Initially these boots seemed quite good, they are light and comfortable in most respects. However quite soon I found they gave me quite a bit of pain on the top part of my toe due to where the crease is in the material of the shoe when it bends with each step. I managed somewhat to correct this by encouraging the crease to lie in a slightly different position. However the biggest problem with these boots is that they are not waterproof. In any significant rain or walking through long wet grass my socks are completely soaked through after a short period of time! They simply should not be labelled as waterproof. Customer service was quite good and I managed to get back a partial refund which is something. However it was not a full refund and I am now left in the original position of having to find another pair of boots that are actually waterproof.Update : Full refund received, customer service very good! Shame the product isn't

Very very comfortable. Easy to break in. Easy to lace up. Nice feel. Very light on the foot. Nice grip. Good looks. Big eyelets.ButThey are not waterproof. The doles are a little thin so you can feel sharp rocks underfootI used them for 14 day’s hiking in Scotland and would not use them in that changeable climate again. I even used gaiters thinking the water ran off off my trousers but that made no difference. They look like they should be waterproof but they are not. I’m a mountain leader and was taking students cross country and the last thing I want is 14 days of wet feet. I would use them on nice days when there is no rain in places like Italy

These boots are incredible. They are sturdy but comfortable and not hard on your feet. I actually really like wearing them and often don’t take them right off. They are quality not too mention waterproof for rain. Overall the thing that I love the most is they are stylish and no one believes the price I paid. Super dope boots, Bolo with another gem lol. Great buy!!
