So far, it has worked well, although getting it to chime exactly on the hour has proved impossible. The volume of the cuckoo can be altered, which is a good thing but care should be taken when inserting or removing batteries, as there is little to grip and therefore the clock could be easily dropped.It is bigger than I thought it would be which is not a bad thing.
