    Update: the new replacement machine from Sage has broken down within 3 months of use. Their customer service has been ok (though they only seem to act quickly when you start publicly leaving poor reviews), but their products are such low quality and suffer from such poor reliability it raises the question how they manage to do any business in the first place.Original review:Conical burr grinder has become worn down within 4 days and stopped working.Also, upon registering the online with Sage, it appeared this machine was "remanufactured", but this was a mistake on their website.It took a week for Sage to accept there was a fault and they are now going to replace the machine as per their warranty guarantee. I'm hoping I was unlucky here and this first machine is not indicative of the general state of engineering of Sage products. This review will be updated again once I have used the coffee machine a little more.

    I have used the standard products and tweaked them, i.e increasing foam and the amount of coffee brewed. I love the fact that it does mostly everything for me. You have to put quite a lot of milk in the frother to get it above the line, so I put something underneath it otherwise I have a cup of milk and no room for the coffee! It has an auto clean, but the frother still needs cleaning each time. Every time the coffee quality is the same.. Big machine that makes really nice coffee.

    In the tamping mechanism, the rotating mechaanism is held in place with a grub screw. this grub screw willwork its way out and get lost in the coffee grounds that are thrown away each time. this allows the critical adjustment of the height of the tamping disk to wander at random. If you are unable to get the arm locked into place to brew the coffee, this is what has happened. So, theres the issue. now comes the problem. SAGE support do not know the difference between what you tell them andwhat their script says to do. first, yes, clean the machine. second, ah, its the wrong coffee, we'll send you some 'right' coffee. If you finally get through to someone who listens to what you are saying, after identifying the problem, listing the new parts required and sending photos and videos they are out of stock on the modified parts. This has been going on since the 12th September. I've been unable to use the coffee machine since then, currently that stands at 73 days. SEVENTY THREE days. I have a lovely £2000 paper weight. The customer service would need to get better to be called "BAD" its appalling. I am unable to recommend this, and perhaps any other SAGE product on this basis.

    I am extremely satisfied with this machine and yes it can get a little noisy when griding or brewing but the quality of the coffee once you dial-in is perfect.Totally recomend this machine. The quality of tge materials is perfect.🥰
