5.0 out of 5 stars Worth a try or not????
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I have been taking the powder for a week now. It dissolves in my morning coffee without leaving a nasty taste. Result! It is very reasonably priced therefore definitely worth a try to improve all the symptoms that the menopause has been throwing at me recently. Will revisit this review to update after I have finished the product .... either re-order or try another brand.
5.0 out of 5 stars Good product
I ran out of my normal collagen and couldn't afford to buy it. It was £30 from Holand and Barrot.I went just over a month without my aches in my legs came back my nails started to break.I found this collagen and thought wow that's half price..A little dubious i bout it..The tub is completely full. You open it and thers no smell at all. You need 2 table spoons in whatever you're using it in. I put it in my tea. It fizzes a little but dissolves easily. There's still no smell and no taste when drinking it.It's only been a week of taking so early days but so far I'm happy with the product.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good quality see results
I have been recommended this product by several people, and have to say I am enjoying it! Beautiful packaging. Can also re-use jar when finished. Helped my hair grow much quicker, nails were stronger. Joint pain unaffected do can’t comment on that. The powder dissolves easily on a breakfast cereal or in a drink.A good quality product which can be added to other foods or drinks for consumption. Unfortunately, I did notice a slight aftertaste, so not always great to add to coffee for example. However, overall one of the best collagen powder products.
5.0 out of 5 stars excellent product
remarkable product, skin is noticebaly better. Use it in a protein drink and its tasteless. superb price for quality
5.0 out of 5 stars Tasteless and easily dissolved
Tasteless ( which is a really good thing) especially when added to coffee. Great profile of constituents and low molecular weight so seems good. Knees improving and skin looks good but only a week in so time will tell.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very good product
This dissolves very well,is tasteless ,I have it in morning cuppa. Haven't been using too long ,am noticing a small reduction in loose skin , hopefully will continue ,will buy more when need too
5.0 out of 5 stars Great value collagen
I have been using hydrolysed collagen peptide products for general joint and skin maintenance, rather than to treat any specific problem. Hence I haven't given a pain relief rating. There are a large number of brands currently on the market of which I've tried more than half a dozen now. Maybe a number of them are actually sourced from the same production lines and only differ in their packaging and branding. There doesn't seem to be a vast degree of difference in the products or their amino acid profiles. The price certainly varies considerably but the consumer experience rather less so. The big brand American imports are expensive and not noticeably better than UK or European sourced collagen products. I guess you pay a premium for their research and the importation shipping costs. Although all brands make a point about being unflavoured or having a 'neutral' taste, its fair to say that they all do have that characteristic slightly stale bovine collagen taste to at least some degree. The very nature of the product presumably makes that unavoidable. The Wellgard is 'OK' in that respect - its not my absolute favourite tasting brand, but certainly tastes no worse than most others I've tried, and seems to dissolve just as easily. In most flavoured drinks, such as coffee for instance, you really don't notice the collagen taste anyway. In terms of clinical efficacy, it seems unlikely that there would be a great deal of difference between the competing brands, so whether or not Wellgard's product actually works any better because of its slightly different amino profile is anyone's guess. However the obvious advantage lies in that it is a well packaged, well presented product coming from the UK, and offers much better value for money than comparable brands imported from overseas.
4.0 out of 5 stars Perfect for hot drinks/liquids, but not for cold drinks
The media could not be loaded. For me it works great as I always used it with my tea. It fizzes a little in the beginning but then dissolves well with no clumps. The tea could look a bit cloudy but there is no taste to it so all good. But I tried to add it to my cold juice once and it was super clumpy. I spent 1 hour trying to keep stirring and eventually I got there. Overall, in terms of my health, i have noticed that tiny baby hair growing on my scalp. My skin feels better and more plumped, but other factors like water intake, skincare products, these affect my skin too. Overall, i am satisfied and would like to continue for the next months to see the overall health benefits upon longer usage.
The worst collagen
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } The worst collagen , From my experience, I do not advise anyone to use it. Its ingredients are harmful to health, cause irregular sleep, and cause fatigue and insomnia.
Very expensive
Works like other product in the market not very different
