We've had quite a few of these excavation kits. These ones my kids enjoyed the most. Imo they fall apart far too quickly to be good value for money, but then again, we've since had some from Home and Bargains (or was it B&M?) That the kids just could not manage to get into and gave up on altogether.So if you are buying hoping they will last, it might not be the best choice (they fall apart in water as suggested) but for a party or playdate activity they are ideal. At my child's birthday party I gave the kids 2 each and then they made necklaces from cage pendant necklaces afterwards, which was a perfect short activity for a party and meant they had something to take home.

My daughter absolutely LOVED this! She adores gems, and this was a fun way for her to excavate her own.As each stone is in an individual block, she’s making her way through them gradually, and loving the information about each stone as she goes.They would also work as individual party favours or gifts!

This is great value for money but be aware it comes in it's own box so your child can clearly see what has been delivered. I'm quite shocked because usually they come in a regular Bolo box. Maybe some warning around Christmas time would be appreciated?

Really great. Kids loved this at birthday party. Turned them into necklaces using spiral gem holders. Kept kids entertained for 45mins

Ganz tolles Geschenk
Meine Tochter kam diese zu ihrem Geburtstag und freut sich immer riesig, wenn sie einen Stein ausgraben darf. Es klappt sehr gut, macht Spaß und die Steine sind nicht all zu klein.

A mi hija de 5 años le ha gustado ir descubriendo las piedras. Pero no son muy bonitas como en la foto, algunas son muy pequeñas, alguna esta repetida, las más bonitas o no estaban o no eran como en la foto sino más feas, y mancha mucho
