5.0 out of 5 stars Best footrest - worth the extra money
The SmartFit SoleMate Pro Elite Ergonomic Foot Rest (K50345EU) is the best footrest. The carpet surface is great, as it its functionality. But best of all is its width with the control between your feet. The allows you feet to be wide apart under the desk, which most other footrests do not. The closer your feet have to be because of the footrest, the more your crotch area gets scrunched up ... not nice on hot days! And not good for posture. You want you feet well planted, ideally fairly wide apart so you don't restrict blood flow and so your hips and knees are not being strained. When you think how many hours, days, months and years you spend working at your desk, the extra cost of protecting your posture and staying at optimal comfort is worth every penny. Really glad I went for this footrest. Highly recommended.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good but not perfect
It's height and angle adjustable, which is good.It feels a bit weak and has too much flex in use, and it's too easy to unlock the angle adjust.Overall though, it's a good wide footrest which has improved the ergonomics of my workstation.
5.0 out of 5 stars Really comfortable
I love the fact that this footrest is not plastic. It is very comfortable and adjustable as described. Looks good as well!
3.0 out of 5 stars Good, but breaks
It is about the only wide footrest I could find. Adjustments are reasonable. It is comfortable. However, it has cracked too easily, I don't even have it for a year. I think it will survive another 6 months or so, as I hear it crack a little further every day. I weigh 75kg.
2.0 out of 5 stars The screws keep coming off
This has been a pain for me to use as the screws for the tilt level keep coming off within the use of 15 minutes or so or whenever you press the tilt lever. It is not being the best version at all.
4.0 out of 5 stars Overall a good product, although not exactly sturdy
PROs: very adaptable, ideal for a wider leg stance, anti slippery and comfy upper material.CONs: not very sturdy, there is a pin that keeps falling out and the components fall apart. But once you understand what to do and what not to do, you can use this device smoothly.
2.0 out of 5 stars Wobbly and noisy
Wobbly piece of plastic that creeks and moves like crazy (even when "locked") whenever I move but one muscle in either foot. Do not buy unless you somehow find it on offer at 10$/£/€.
5.0 out of 5 stars Nice and big!
Could be a tad comfier, the carpet is a little thin so you can feel the harder plastic underneath. Better than raw plastic, though.Great size though, nice and wide for people who like to sit with a wide stance.Raises up / down with hand screws at the side, and tilts back / forward and locks in place with the lever at the front. Wish that leaver was a tad smaller though! Easy to catch by accident.
Comodo
