Makes slush and ice cones. Easy to use. Easy to clean. The tray included makes lovely big cubes. As the cubes are larger than usual they take longer to freeze solid. Good value for money. Not sure how the handle will hold up over time.

This is so easy to use and does the job more than I expected. It gives fine ice shaves. Tho sometimes there are shards of ice, they're minute issues to knock off a star. I bought one and introduced it to my friends. The next day, all of them got their own. It's very easy to use, and even a toddler (with supervision) can shave the ice easily and quickly. That's how good this product is!

Got this to make cocktails in long glasses as the crushed ice spreads the drink out more in the glass and softens the harsh taste of stronger cocktails as it melts. This does make more like shaved ice that you'd use for slushies so if you're after purely crushed ice only, this one's not for you, however I found it hard to find an ice crusher that didn't shave it or leave it the ice in pieces that were too large so this may still be the best option if you're picking between ice that's too crushed or not crushed enough. It's not as loud as I was expecting actually and is nice and compact and simple to use, will definitely use more in the summer although I suspect the ice will melt much faster when it's shaved!

Bought this as my blend active was struggling to constantly chop ice. This is amazing. It quite simply shreds the ice to give a slushy effect. The ice tray that came with it doesn’t seem to want to freeze the water for some reason, but we just use regular ice trays and all is good. I have yet to use it myself as my daughter loves to do it. It is much easier to use than she imagined. Will be buying more as gifts. Can’t believe I haven’t discovered this sooner. Highly recommended. Perfect way to ensure kids drink enough in the summer. It is also a great accompaniment to iced coffee.

used it for slushing ice to make ice slushies. So easy to use the kids are doing it themselves. Daughter aged 10 is planning to sell home made slushies over the summer to friends and neighbours so good for cultivaiting that entreprenurail trait.

I bought this to make slush at home because buying slush all the time is too expensive; especially for a group of people.The ice shavings are not fine enough to mix with the slush syrup and instead, the ice shavings freeze together and the syrup sinks to the bottom. I've tried different ways but nothing is working.The ice cube tray is amazing. It makes big, thick ice cubes and easy to take out. I love the ice cube tray.

Bought not expecting much to be honest...it has given us lovely cold drinks during this last week in the heat...it is easy to use, easy to clean and i just hope it works for a long time. now about to order another for daughter.
Outstanding ice shaver!
ICE CHEWERS UNITE! lol!! My hubby is thrilled I purchased this awesome little hand crank ice shaver. He used to crush ice for me the hard way. Repeatedly slam a board on a bag of ice, wrapped in a towel (on the basemt. floor) yielding inconsistent sz pieces and usually ice strewn across the floor... meh.... (but love him for the effort!) ♥This thing is FANTASTIC!!! I can shave ice even w. a weak/ wonky side (stroke) Simply lean weak arm on the top as I turn the handle w. my other arm. Surprisingly easy - yields beautiful, fluffy ice in no time! Mini ice cube tray is a nice bonus. Ice shaver doesn't take up much space - gotta love that.Shaved ice w. just a splash of unsw. grapefruit juice on brutal summer evenings - soooo refreshing! Very HAPPY w. purchase!
Fun - shaves ice quickly!
I was pleasantly surprised with how little effort it takes to operate this device and how quickly it produces ice shavings. I have tried it with a bunch of different sized ice cubes and it handles all well. The silicone ice cube tray that comes with it is a nice bonus. The device is not too large and easily stored. Well worth it for the hot summer days!Side note: you don’t necessarily need syrups for snow cones. I like freezing other beverages (lemonade, pop, other juices) into ice cubes and shaving those to eat as a snow cone or combine with some liquid form of the same beverage to make a slushie!

ah quel plaisir de retrouver la dégustation des shaved ice à la maison !(c'est bien de la poudre en grains qui sort et non de la glace concassée pour les mojitos)Détail malin non précisé dans la description : le couvercle du bouchon est amovible, le bouchon est remplissable pour 2 gros blocs de glace qui rentre parfaitement dans le racloir ce qui donne plus de quantité de grain (avec des glaçons classiques, beaucoup trop de vide entre eux)
