    If you have gone to the trouble of purchasing a fountain pen, you clearly take pride in your handwritten work or communications. This ink is outstanding in colour vibrance, flow, and smoothness. It doesn't clog if you leave your pen for a few days, unlike some comparable brands, nor does it lose it's colour brilliance in the pen.The bottle is a classic bespoke design, which looks lovely in my writing desk. The bottleneck is fitted with a plastic stopper, which is great, but I would suggest that you cover the neck of the bottle with a tissue or sheet of kitchen paper when you remove it as it is inclined to splatter a little bit of ink as it parts company with the glass neck of the container. Otherwise, the perfect ink. Beautiful, classic and enriches the whole fountain pen experience.

    This is a very deep ink which writes wonderfully. It is true black, and—most important of all, to me—does not shade at all. It is all fully monochrome, and everything written will be perfectly black through and through. Could not recommend more.Only concern is that it took two men and a pair of pliers to wrench the lid off the first time. The silicone stopper seems an unnecessary addition, and though I am not sure, it may have been what made the bottle's opening a near-impossibility.

    bought this ink for my new fountain pen. beautiful to write with and it's called unforgiving for a reason wait till you refill pen and get it on your fingers .lol

    Coming in a lovely box and bottle, the ink is certainly well presented, while the silicon stopper is probably a useful addition to the bottle in helping to prevent any accidental spillage. It might be a little bit of a double-edged sword for some, as removal needs to be done with care to avoid splatter hazard and to prevent getting ink on hands.I am using it with a (relatively) venerable old Sheaffer Classic with a screw reservoir fitted.My first impressions are that the ink is pleasingly black to the eye, while the ink itself flows well. It is accordingly smooth to use, but it does seem to be quite a 'wet' ink compared to Parker Quink, glistening on the page for a few seconds prior to drying. My index finger also appears prone to picking up ink from the nib, more so than was the case with Quink, although I did give the nib a thorough clean in an ultrasonic cleaner prior to filling, which may account for increased fluidity.On the finger the ink does seem to show good water resistance! On paper the ink does diffuse a little in contact with water, but no more than expected (it does not claim to be waterproof), and it does keep line coherence. [See attached photo - top of T wetted by water droplet].All in all, a good ink in a luxury package.

    Decent quality, and great shade of pink. Not wushu washy translucent quality, but a strong colour and consistency.Pleasing - you pay for what you get.The 50ml will last a decent time using the converter to fountain pen.The bottle has a silicone stopper and tight twist lid, and does appear to be spill resistant. It’s been thrown around my bag and car since using it, and not lost a drop!

    Lovely ink. I know there are not many people left who use fountain pens nowadays but for those that do still use fountain pens this is a nice ink writes well the bottle itself looks good. All in all a very nice ink to use. And a decent price.

    I like these inks. I have the sky blue and unforgiving black. The bottles are deceptively and conveniently small considering they hold 50mls. Reassuringly expensive (but cheaper than some). Inks flow smoothly and look great. Not had a water accident with the black ink, but can confirm the sky blue is totally not permanent, so bear this in mind if writing something very important.

    Très belle couleur bleue ciel clair. Bouteille très jolie aussi avec une protection supplémentaire anti-fuite rassurante.Sensible à l'oxydation néanmoins : au bout d'un certain temps, dans le stylo, l'encre devient plus sombre et moins lumineuse qu'au début. C'est joli aussi, plus foncé, mais ce n'est plus la même chose.
