I was quite prepared to find that this jacket was not really heavy enough for a winter's day but now it's arrived when there is snow on the ground outside, & it seems to be really nice and cosy. The piece of fabric that fits over the thumb is a nice touch because I always find a draught gets between my sleeve cuff and glove so this is a good idea, & other companies could well adopt it. Also the hood is lined with the fleece fabric which is a great addition to most hoods, which are so often unlined; however this hood is so large that I will need to wear a very big hat under it not to be swamped by it and walk into things!! There seems to be enough pockets and adequate sizes too - as to whether my phone will actually fit in the outside pocket remains to be seen as I have it in a case. I love the colour of the purple which is not as dark as some other jackets. The neck of the coat seems to be rather sizeable and therefore a loose fit but as I have some lovely thick buffs that should not be a real issue. So all in all, I am very happy with my purchase - just need to wear it out to see if it performs as well as I hope for.

Everything about this jacket is 5*, its a lovely fit, comfortable and cosy warm and I like being able to remove the hood for those dry days when you still need a coat. I'm a 41" chest and ordered the L which is a perfect fit.

Lovely warm waterproof jacket. Ordered large initially as other reviews said size up, but it swamped me - replaced with medium and it is perfect (usually a size 10) with room to wear a bulky jumper underneath. Useful pockets inside lining (hidden one right by the zip and a net one on the other side. Plus three external pockets. Value for money.

I bought ready for the winter as I really feel the cold. Trying it on I was warm within a minute the jacket is well made comfortable and looks more expensive than it actually. If I had to buy another coat I would definitely buy this one again. Also I am 5 foot 2 inches tall so this come just below my bottom in length so it is perfect for me.
