5.0 out of 5 stars Amazing value
Amazing compressor, so quiet, love it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Incredibly quiet and well put together.
I looked at several different brands of these so called silent compressors and was very sceptical of its quietness.I’ve owned 4 different compressors ranging from a 6ltr Clarks mini compressor up to a 150ltr workshop / spray booth compressor, all of them made an absolute racket! This Hyundai is just incredible, it’s so quiet that i actually thought it wasn’t working correctly, don’t get me wrong it is NOT silent but they don’t say it is but it is very quiet!Assembly is stupid simple of just the wheels and front rubber feet, takes less than 5 mins in total - my tip if your interested?Open the box and slowly rotate it on the ground at all times and slowly pull the box off of the compressor - it has a polystyrene pod on each end, keep these on to keep it balanced upside down then you can remove the bag of wheels, axle bolts and rubber feet and attach them easily whilst upside down, once done, turn it the right way up and then screw the air filter in the back end top of the cylinder head by hand only - that’s all it needs, don’t over tighten this part.My only regret is not buying the 50ltr but i didn’t want to waste money if this had been noisy, hearing how quiet it is i would definitely have bought the 50ltr as i like to have a bit more volume.Buy with absolute confidence and ignore the ones that look similar but are not, this has two air outlets and also has the water separator which the other ones don’t and the others have higher decibel output.
4.0 out of 5 stars Very quiet
A good small compressor for a home workshop. A little slower to build up to full pressure than I expected but acceptable. Very quiet - much quieter than I expected. Perfectly fine to use in a small workshop without any ear protection. The instructions are appalling and don't identify any of the parts to which they refers. In spite of a statement that updated manuals are available on the Hyundai website they are not.Once I worked out the way around the defects in the instructions I am pleased with it and glad I captured the extra discount which has now disappeared from the pricing (but seems to remain if you buy a can of WD40 at the same time!)"
5.0 out of 5 stars Compact and very quiet
This compressor is very quiet works great doesn't lose any pressure over a week glad I bought this one very happy , delivery on the other hand was a different story got an email Wednesday to say arriving Thursday on Thursday got a text with a delivery time and said they'd phone 1/2 hour before delivery then later Thursday morning said they couldn't deliver ended up over a week later before it arrived
5.0 out of 5 stars Great bit of kit
I purchased this compressor for using tools and a press machine, it has met the needs of that, refills fairly fast and although it is classed as silent it does still make a small amount of noise but this is normal for silent compressors its just the fans spinning. but vs our standard compressor you couldn't hear or talk over it but this one we can.
5.0 out of 5 stars no noise level at all. I highly recommend it.
I think it is the best among compressors. I was using another company for years. I was very disturbed by its sound. But now Hyundai's compressor has no noise level at all. I highly recommend it.

Perfect for home use
5.0 out of 5 stars Quiet and easy to use
I received this fairly quickly given I ordered it around Christmas so thumbs up for this. Being an oil-free version, there was no faffing around putting oil in or settling it after whatever journey it had via the courier. There was minimal putting together however I did get stumped on this. the manual is a bit basic and just says put it together but in reality, for someone who has never put together a compressor, this had me scratching my head.First part was a black round part - no idea what it was initially but could see it could only screw on the end valve so that was easy enough. I now know this to be a filter of some sort which dampens the noise too.The second bit was the wheels - this is where I got stumped but now looking back, it is easy as pie.The issue was you had 2 round washers, a spring washer, a nut and a bolt but I didn't know what way the wheel went (one side has ridges, the other does not), and whether it was nut, washer, wheel, washer, spring, bolt or do two of the round washers stay together or... In the end, the above NWWWSB is what I did and it seems to be fine. The last bits were the anti-vibration legs, these bolted on quickly...and that is really it!So the usage... I saw lots of reviews about the head being the wrong way making one of the outlets difficult to get to - in my case, this was the correct way round and both were accessible.I guess they have listened and corrected it.I used a Stanley kit 6 as a quick test and found it worked perfectly. One thing that caught me out is both outlets need to be blocked whether its with a pipe or I guess some sort of blocker? I hooked up the stanley pipe on one and the Stanley tyre pressure gauge on the other as a temp solution but this did the trick.Tank filled up fairly quickly and again, quietly! I could not hear it filling up once outside the shed/door shut.Once filled, it automatically stops and the pressure needle is just below the red area. Finally, hit the plunger/gun or whatever you have and its air on demand.Again this is my first time buying a compressor mainly to remove the need for compressed air cans that were costing a lot of money but now I can use this for tyres, maybe quick painting, light nailing, etc.
